Be sure to send a pic of that buck you got with your selfbow to Traditional Bowhunter for their Trad Harvest section. Very few selfbows ever get any attention there. Way too cool !

Question for CO--Dogs
(Preview)
OK, I went deer hunting Sunday. Saw two bucks run past within range, with 4 dogs after them. The dogs had collars, and I don't want to shoot someone's hunting dogs. This is the third time we've caught them running on this place. If you can't catch them, how do you stop it?

Woody's 07 Buck
(Preview)
Took him Monday evening. Liver shot, so I let him rest 'til morning. Could've gotten him that night, looked like he died on his feet. Swore off camo this season in exchange for flannel and earthtones. Took a doe a couple of weeks ago with the old recurve and the same get up.

I have these two weeks off to deer hunt, but the buggers are moving in the dark! Corn is still in the fields, and deer still in the corn. Opening morning a big doe came in behind me in the dark, and this morning I was 12 yards form an eater and it was too dark to pick a spot. Hunting on the ground, of course. Been...
