i have never been so shaken up as i was after the shot at this one! kept wondering if my shot was good when i knew it was. it was only about 12 yards and i saw my arrow hit its mark , but still i wondered if it really was. after about 40 min i got down and knew he was mine. it looked like blood was poured from a bucket for about 50 yards and there he laid.
And with your own hand made selfbow !! That's living large John.

Very nice buck! I'd have a hard time letting him walk too. Congratulations! Kinda wish I'd had the chance to get down there and hang out with everybody. I'll be there next year. Chris
i think i'll do a full skull mount , anyone know how??? i think i can skin the head and boil it, but i'm not sure if there's more to it or not. thanks all & good luck john f
