i get to hunt muscatatuck 11/5 i just hope some deer are still alive in there. should have known i'd get drawn the year ehd is it's worst. "not complaining" oh well my great grandparents had a farm in there befor it was the refuge , be kinda cool to hunt the same woods great grandpa hunted.
I like hunting muscatatuck and 11/5 should be a good time to be there, we always got drawn late December and it has been a while since I've applied. I have some good memories of the place, I've experienced two things there that haven't happened before or since: - Still hunting on one snow covered morning, I counted 36 deer before noon. - On another day, I had a doe pass by at about 6 foot, if I had been hunting with a longbow I could have reached out and poked her.
I'll bet your great grandpa never saw a live deer on his place.
