This is Dennis

I talked to Steve H. and Dave, and found out the banquet is gonna be on Dec. 15th. That's a friday evening and it's gonna be the same place. Their getting together one evening this week and work out the details and everyone should get a newsletter sometime around Thanksgiving with all the information. Dave said for me to get on here and tell ya'll that anyone that can come up with door prizes, to work on that. I think it would be great if some of our renoun bowyers would step up and make some custom bows I know of at least one famous flintlock rifle maker that could help. I make bows but I'm afraid mine arent worthy I do have an old pack of deer liver in the bottom of my freezer I might bring

I think we might have the big room this year and the food was pretty good before.

I don't know if they have a guest speaker yet, any ideas? How about, Flintim" The Early Years" DEN

Ps. The indoor league at Chicks starts on Thur. Nov. 30th. This is the same time as last year. The more the merrier. This year I vow to hit that quail.

Also does anyone know what a laptop computer is worth? It seems I win one every time I log on here. All I have to do is Click Here, and I get a free one. I may start selling them at the shoots. DEN

I wonder if Harry Elburg would be interested in speaking.

He could talk about bow making and designs, broadheads, or archery history in general.

He's a really interesting person to talk to in person, but I don't know if he'd be willing or interested in speaking at the banquet.

I agree Harry would be an excellent(and cheap) choice.

Dennis, the laptops are free, but the shipping and handling are awful!

All,

Steve H. will post the details of the banquet very soon. There will be a slight fee to attend the club picks up the burden of the cost. You can contact Steve Humphery , Dave McKnight, Doyle Daniels or myself to RSVP. Last year cost us quite a few dollars because of no shows, so this year we will ask for anyone that comfirms their attendance to be responsible for payment even if you can't attend.

We have confirmed the local DNR person will attend (I don't know his name). We are asking for as many people as can to donate door prizes.

We had a great time last year, l'm looking for a better time this year.
