Some of you remember my hunting buddy Kenny. We were oozing along on the ground hunting squirrels this morning, when he spotted this buck running a doe. At 25 yards he whistled it to a stop, and shot it through the heart with his Lloyd Cheek longbow.
That's a real good deer. You guys kill a lot of deer while squirrell hunting. Mabey I'm going about it all wrong. Next time I go out I'll officially be birdwatching Of course I'll have my bow.
I've seen a lot of deer, and missed a couple How can you miss a deer at 15yd, and shave a squirrel at 25? I don't feel too bad though after hearing about someone elses spectacular misses. I'm not gonna mention no names though, cause DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES. Or mabey one too many.
The bucks are starting to cruise down here, but I havent seen any chasing. It's getting good
You guys are killing more deer by accident than the rest of us are killing on purpose !
