KTBA shoot sept 9

This coming shoot is going to be a special one. It is a tribute to one of our young members Tyler Roberts who lost his life in a motorcycle accident last month. As a memorial for Tyler, KTBA is donating the proceeds from our sept 9 shoot to the archery in schools program (NASP) at a school in London,KY that his younger brother attends. This school presently does not have a program, and will require a $2800 donation to get the ball rolling. The high school Tyler attended allready has a program in place, so at his fathers request it was unanimously agreed by the membership to direct it to a school that needed it more. A wise choice in my opinion.
KTBA openly invites all intrested to this shoot, for its charitable purposes, as well as the fun and comraderie that allways goes with it.
Some things we will have are,30 target 3-d course, american round target set-up, novelty shots including long shot and running boar, aireial shooting, fish fry, potluck dinner, lots of trading, free camping and vendor set-up as allways.
We allready have promise of several items for raffle, and door prizes as well. A special T-shirt is in the works for all attending . These will be passed on at cost. At this time things are still being ironed out, as this all came up impromtu, but we all felt it needed to be done now.
Anyone planning to come, should post and let us know, so we can get an idea how many shirts we need so no one goes without. Letting us know in advance gurrantees you a shirt, so respond ASAP.
Anyone wishing to donate prizes or raffle items post them here for all to see. I will update as items are confirmed.
The goal we have set is high, as we are a small club, but is a worthy cause so we can only hope for high attendance and generous donations.
Thanks,
Randy Grider

We really need everyone's support for this shoot.  Even if you didn't know Tyler please come and help us pay tribute to our fallen friend and fellow archer.

Hey, Randy! I plan to be there Saturday to shoot as well as setting up as a vendor. Our store is Gifford's Smalltown Sports. You can count on us for a door prize, and would you please get me any vendor info I may need?

Thanks,

Bryan
