Heard this rumor yesterday from a guy who works for a large electrical company in Columbus. Says the word on the street is that they have bought land next to Menards out along I 65. True ? Who knows but it's sure interesting , heh?

I haven't heard the Cabela's rumor but Bass Pro Shop has already started work on their new store in the Riverfalls Mall in Clarksville. It's slated to open in the fall of 2005 and is second in size only to their St Louis store. I can't wait.

They showed on my first post when I tried to add smiley faces, think I'm rid of them now.
I learned today that Cabelas was talking to Riverfalls Mall when Bass Pro came in and took it away from them. This came from a sponser of a B.A.S.S. tournement fisher. He also said Gander Mountain is getting ready to open some new stores starting in Kentucky.

Well, if you think about it, that I65 corridpr would be a good one. You'd draw people from Indy, Louisville, Cinci, and Bloomington and Terre Haute. Probably would be a better site than you would first think. Them guys who do that type of thing don't do anything that they think won't work.
Bottom line is , if they put one there, I'd better get a good divorce lawyer.
