Well, I decided to take the dog and bow for a walk this morning, so I headed down to Brush Creek. I got about a mile from the truck along a bean field and had seen two Turkeys up close already(why doesn't this happen during turkey season?)
Had shot a few arrows and was pleased with my shooting so far, when the sky opened and drowned my ass.
I am writing this from the bottom of the ocean.
Of course, I have a fine, lightweight rainsuit. It was sitting on the floor at the house where I left it.
This is Dennis. It aint no better down here in the tropical part of In. The heat and humidity, and them zebra striped mosquits have finally run me indoors.
Ronald came by this morning and wanted to sit out back and drink coffee. For some reason he's impervious to heat and cold, and pain.
Have a happy 4th, and don't blow your fingers off. DEN
Must have been all around us. Only a very light sprinkle for maybe 5 min here around 6 pm. Grandkids went horseback riding 10 miles away and got drowned.(they too are on the bottom of the ocean)
