Visit with the Toothless Wonder

I call Jim everyday but about once a week or so I go visit him and take him jelly donutsbiggrin... I went and seen him this morning and took him a string for his 50# Tembo. Every time he has a new BS story to tell me and I think he sits in his recliner and thinks these things upno.. And he always askes, Have you talked to D.E. lately? (Dennis Evans) lol. Or, Have you talked to our bald headed friend lately? (Chris Smith).. Every since Hewitt passed away I have totally regained my love for Archery and the folks at our club.. I've been shooting there over half my life and a few of you remember when I was a 21 year old kid eager to do anything that had to do with archery. Tuck, Hebner, Doyle and now Mike Rivers is back.. I'm going on 51 and have grand kids now and That's why I go visit Jim, Ya never know! And just to watch eat the jelly donutsbiggrinbiggrin... Spend as much time as you can with your friends!

I realized just the other day, I have been doing this silliness since about 1993, 26 stinkin' years ! Maybe I'm entitled to write a book now ? Im not sure a book about low scores, missed animals and harvest of less than stellar animals would make that great of a read, pretty sure it wont make the best seller list. I could call it, "Twenty Six years of archery failures". Hmmm, I think I'm on to something here.....
