YUMMM... Fresh baked cat head bisquits smotherd in sage sausage gravy, a couple cackel fruits over easy, thick sliced hickory bacon, fried taters with crispy onion specks, hot buttered wheat toast to sop up the runny yokes, and strong black coffee to wash it down.
Dang! Dennis, you just gave me another heart attack reading your post! It reminds me of my time spent in Upper East TN, deep in Appalachia Territory. The hospital cafeteria had the best country breakfast ever! Them, hillbillies in the South, "invented" the sausage gravy after the Civil War I was told by a "prominent hillbilly" in Elizabethton, TN some 30 years ago.
Where is that Budrows place?
Ha! Jose your talking about home my friend... some mighty fine cooks down in that part of the county...
Budrows is in Henryville... Exit 19 off I-65 take a right at the top of the exit... go down to the 4 way stop and take a left up HWY 31... should be on your right within a 1/4 mile... it's right across from the school...
