Wanted to thank you guys for the great time my son and I had at the shoot Saturday. We'd been to a couple last year, but this year we had a blast. Hooked up with a couple of nice fellers that let us shoot in their group, John the preacher and Todd Hunt. Both great guys and made a good impression on my 8 year old. I even coughed up the 15 bucks to join the ITBA and got the shirt to prove it! Anyway, thanks again. Hopefully if my schedule allows, I'll be an active member and help out with the club, Switzerland Co. not all that far from Scottsburg so I should be around. You just have to tolerate my crappy shooting!
Most of the time, my shooting serves as a bad example and doesn't make much of an impression, but just the way these guys welcomed me and my boy was great, definitely good ambassadors for the organization and trad. archery.
Woody, sometime this summer when we're both not too busy, let's get together at Splinter Ridge for a stump shoot. Kenny and I go down there once in awhile just for a change of scenery.
I imagine some of the club "hairy backs" would like to go as well.
