Appalachian Flatbow

I just purchased an Appalachian Flatbow made by Dave Guthrie and boy it's a shooter. He hasn't made a bow in 20 years and evidently it is a rarity that they come up for sale. If anyone is looking for a lefty Savage River takedown recurve made by him, there is one on EBAY. 55#@30" 62"AMO

To tell the truth....The Appalachian was delivered last Saturday and of course I had to fling a few. After some minor tuning, I was shooting it so well, that even Vern would have been impressed! Will be shooting both for now. Besides, John will inherit the Robertson upon my passing. I'd tell you that I'll leave you the Appalachian , but I'm afraid the buzzards would start circling!
