The Revenant

We are going to see this movie on Friday when it opens.  It looks like it will be a good one.  It's based on the incredible true story of Hugh Glass.  One of the members on the Primitive Archer forum made all the bows and arrows for the movie.   Anybody else planning on seeing it?

It was great. I'd definitely recommend seeing it. The theater was packed. There was a butt in every seat.

Personally, I would have rather stayed home and watched Jeremiah Johnson. I definitely would not take my children to see it due to the excessive foul language, unwarranted nudity, and one rape scene. There is plenty of action and beautiful scenery and I found the weapons and wardrobe on par with the time period. I did not realize that there was such a thing as a semi automatic flintlock pistol, but I suppose that's Hollywood for ya.
