From my understanding that means that for the state title you only get one shot at it. In other words you can't keep shooting until your ahead or you can't see Ronalds score and say I'm switching classes. You can still shoot all three classes. When they say COMPEAT they mean the state championship. It is designed to keep someone like Redden or Tim from winning everything. Say you chose to shoot longbow to qualify for the title. You tell them when you sign up that your shooting for the marbles. Your score is recorded as your state champ score. Then you can go back out and shoot self bow. You may win that class but it dosen't count as state competition. Some other deserving soul like me could be self bow state champ. At least thats my understanding. I've been wrong before. I think it was 1984. DEN
Now see, that ain't right. Here I been shooting upwards of 3 arras a night after work, lifting 12 oz weighted cans up and down to build up my arms, eating only hi carb food to get "Carbed Up" , all in the hopes of winning all 3 divisions at the State Shoot.
Never fails- a man works hard to better himself and some beauracrat takes it away from him.
I lost my marbles once, maybe those are mine you been shooting.

I think I'm gong to travel light. No cooking (we should have more than enough to eat in the clubhouse) maybe some cereal and coffee for breakfast. If someone can be sure the clubhouse is unlocked Saturday morning and Sunday, I'll make the coffee.
