Bobs spectacular squirrel safari

Once again no blood was spilt. It was a great day however. The wind was a problem, around 10 - 15mph. Jim said he likes SQ hunting in those conditions but he wasn't there to explain just how you go about that. hmm

Anyway, shots were taken, just no good shots. biggrin  After the morning hunt we shot a round of 3-D. Lots of good shots then. aww

Perhaps the highlite was the delicious rabbit surprise that we ate for lunch. There must have been 30 cottontails in that roaster and it was some of the best eatin I've had.

Bob's planning a rascally rabbit rondevouse for this winter. Stay tuned.wink

Wish you all had come with us for deer youth season. We were totally surrounded by squirrels, I have never seen so many in one concentrated area! We didn't have any rabbit surprise though so you all probably made a better choice! Sounds like you all had fun.

Den, love youre posts man, you just have a way with words. I know its a huge expense for you Indiana yanks, but im telling you, no place beats LBL for squawk opportunities. Maybe someday, a truce, and joining of the tribes will birth such a hunt, in my dreams......

Randy, I second your motion.
By the way, have you thought about running for office? As Jeremiah Johnson said to Del: "You will do well..."
God bless.

Jose, at politics I would not do well, too much of a conscience. Unlike a politician I will tell you how expensive it is for an out of stater, instead of promising "a chicken in every pot".

I don't think you can be a politician either for the same reasons you mention. But ... I believe you can do a lot of good for a small community where politics may not play as big a role: you are a good guy, you get things done, you are honest, you work hard and you like to serve. Just saying...
