Ed Pitchkites

Saw this on another forum. Ed has left out the West gate

For those who know/knew Ed Pitchkites and the Anniversary Hunt article that appeared in Traditional Bowhunter in Dec/Jan 2014. I have some sad news to report. Ed passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015.

He had made many friends during his lifetime, and those he met that shared his passion for traditional bowhunting know how dedicated he was to the sport.

To those who knew him, met him, corresponded with him.....thank you. It meant a lot to him.

I am his sister. I will miss his place in this world very much. He was one of a kind.

I knew Ed. We wrote to each other, and I have some cassette tapes he sent me.

He'll be scouting Deer and probably have his Parex bow with him!

Met Ed many years ago at the GLLI when it was at Berrien Springs, bought his book, and saw him many years after at Cloverdale. He was the real deal, and I hate to hear he will no longer be around. Great guy, he will be missed.
