Had a really good time this weekend. Sorry for the folks that didn't make it. No rain and wasn't really muddy. One of the better places to shoot anywhere. Ron, Dave and crew set an excellent course with great targets and the food couldn't be beat. We did some crazy trading on our trade blanket. I went around five times.thanks to all!!!
Steve
PS: just wish we had a better turn out with families and more kids, I miss them.
I took off after the trade blanket because Sunday had every indication of being the only day this year to bow fish for buffalo. I shot 3 20lb ones and 1 about 30lb, and it was over that quick. Jim and I looked at the river from Brownstown to my place today, and saw nuttin'
I enjoyed the shoot and the trading, and seeing you all again
Well we groomed a young man in the trading business. I think he will make a good bargainer down the road. Shot primitive bow like a third grader, not much better with a 'Curve and was so darn tired Sunday morning could barely pull the 52 pound LB. Lots O Fun nonetheless. We kicked around some ideas to boost attendance on Sunday and after the dust settles we can talk about that. Good times.

Jackson is a Really Good Boy think alot of him hope i get to be as good at being a Grandfather as Tim !!! I had a Blast at shoot really needed it had been trapped at farm for 2 1/2 weeks waiting on Car to be fixed Always come home from ITBA shoots wth a Glowing feeling inside this is a very Speacial group of people knew that the 1st time i ever shot there No other club like it !!!
Hillbillyking, I share those same feelings with you. I attended my first shoot at the club when they were meeting at Hardy Lake. We found the club by subscribing to the national list of club shoots put out by Wallace bows from out West. This guy did it as a service to the trad. community. I went with Bill Rideout (RIP). He's been dead 16 years! We felt at home since the very first day. We miss some shoots now and then for one reason or the other, but it sure is nice to come back!
God bless you all, José
Drew and I had a great time. The target set up was great. I didn't lose an arrow, so it was a moral victory for me! Made some good trades with John, Dave, Tim and J.R. The food was excellent. The ladies did a wonderful job on the meal. I enjoyed just sitting back and listening to everyone talk. Hope they post the scores soon. I know 3 of the guys I shot with were doing really well on the course. Thanks to all that put in the hard work.
We didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked to but we sure had a good time on Saturday! We planned on coming back over Saturday evening but I was afraid you all would trade me out of all my stuff! I apprieciate all of the hard work that went into the weekend everything was perfect. Except maybe my shooting ....
