The mono is big enough and hard enough that you can run your thumbnail over it and feel the "clicks" as you go up and down it. A good string walker can raise or lower his nocking point for different distances. Larry Yien actually has videos on the 'Net showing how to do it. Illegal at our club and a lot others.
