Well, I seen an add on TV the other day where Bill Nye the science guy was going to be at a Dinosaur display of some kind and debating creation VS evolution. I really don't understand why people that are supposed to be so smart can't understand that it took Intelligent design to create such a variety of complex creatures in this world. Not to even mention Mankind. If a one celled ameba could have happened by it's self how would it decide without a brain that it needed a mouth, eyes, nose ears, feet, legs, arms, scales, fins, fur, feathers, skin. Not to mention the more complex organs in our bodies. the stomach to digest food. Eyes that transmit signals to the brain that allows us to see. Red blood cells that carry oxygen, white blood cells that fight infections. The Pancreous that produces insulin to break down sugars. How would the Ameba decide that it needed to develop a Male and an Female to reproduce when it could already divide it's self. Steven Hawking says that we did not need a God for the Big Bang to happen. Well all I can say is that I am glad that I am not that smart. If I were I would not be getting into Heaven, thinking like that.
A lot of churches are having screenings tomorrow night. You can also go to the Creation Museum website (Google it) and they are letting you watch it live via web streaming tomorrow night.

Nothing changed here. Either side of the issue is still where they were. These types of debates settle nothing. As for me I'll keep going on. Someone at a much higher pay grade will settle it in the end. Besides, I have enough trouble keeping Cowles on the straight and narrow.

Yeah, didn't change my opinion none. I did find it interesting they interviewed a guy from the audience that was there in support of Bill the Sciece Guy. He admitted he was there with intent of mocking the whole thing and disrupting if he felt the need. He seemed totally befuddled because the opposition which greatly outnumbered him in the given audience was so cordial and treated him with respect. He just didn't know what to do with no one to be angry at...
I don't agree with the young age of the Earth. I don't think that anyone that argues that the earth is only 6,000 years old takes into account that the bible does not say anything about how long the Earth existed before the creation account of Man.
And Dale, just because our (Arab) calendar uses 12 months and calls it a year, doesn't mean ancient people did. Methuselah may have been 500 years old, if a year was one season, for example
Yep, the concept of a calendar is a fairly young concept in the grand scheme of things. Back in the day, time was counted by big or important events, the birth of a child, the death of a person, the seasonal movement of game , etc. Just think how it will set all "we" think we know upside down if they ever do find Noah's Ark on a mountain top ?

Remember how we have been told for years and years that men evolved from apes. And we were told they just needed to find "the missing link "? Well they have found a lot of stuff but to date no missing link. Also the old science charts that showed the ape to men evolution had the Neanderthal man in it ? Now it's been decided that he was not part of the chart but instead a sub set of Homo Sapiens, that became extinct. Seems they create more questions than they answer.
