Looking for a handful of traps for the boy and related equipment. Buddy of mine has taught him how to land trap and he has a couple of longsprings in a culvert trying for coon, rats or maybe a mink. He caught a coyote, gray fox and couple coons earlier this week and the trapping bug has bitten him. Not looking to spend a ton, but I figure I can gradually get him stuff here and there to build up what he needs.
Woody, for starting out, you can get a dozen 110 Conibear style traps from Hoosier Trappers Supply up in Greenwood for $44. That's what I bought my grandson and then John had some leg holds for sale (3 or 4) cheap. It would be best to let him start slow and he can add traps as his earnings come in. Furs are doing real well in prices lately and he would generate some cash fairly quick. Bound to be some ditches and creeks down there for him to work.

Thanks fellas! He's pretty excited about it. Have a good little ditch in the woods behind the house and some culverts close by he can walk or ride bike too. He's already gotten pretty good at dirt hole sets, but I think he had a case of beginners luck! Thanks again
