I just heard on National Public Radio two things that have totally destroyed what tiny bit of belief I still had in American leadership. I have concluded that the term intelligent American is an oxymoron.

American elites have decided that Americans are not sufficiently threatened by war and economic chaos, so they are bringing the ebola virus to America. National Public Radio reported that two people infected with the ebola virus, which cannot be cured and is usually deadly, are being brought to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

All it takes is one cough, one sneeze, one drop of saliva, and the virus is loose in one of the main transportation centers of the US.

Pandemic anyone? Little doubt but that most of the world would emit a great sigh of relief to be rid of Washington.

Allegedly the ebola carriers will be quarantined in special rooms. But we already know that American hospitals cannot even contain staph infections. rt.com/usa/177408-nightmare-bacteria-antibiotic-southeast/ What happens to the utensils, plates, cups, and glasses with which the ebola infected persons eat and drink? And who gets to clean the bed pans? One slip-up by one person, one tear in a rubber glove, and the virus is loose.

If we dont die from ebola, we still have to dodge nuclear war. I heard part of Obamas press conference. Obama accused Putin of doing everything that only Obama is doing.

WASHINGTON About 550 Army majors, including some serving in Afghanistan, will soon be told they have to leave the service by next spring as part of a budget-driven downsizing of the service.

Gen. John Campbell, the vice chief of the Army, acknowledged Friday that telling troops in a war zone that they're out of a job is a difficult task. But he said some of the soldiers could join the National Guard or the Army Reserve.

The decision to cut Army majors comes on the heels of a move to slash nearly 1,200 captains from the ranks. Army leaders were criticized at the time for giving 48 of them the bad news while they were deployed to Afghanistan.

The Army declined to say how many majors will be notified while they are at the battlefront.

Isn't this prohibited by the Constitution?

Gun confiscations and martial law are both plausible government responses to an Ebola outbreak in America considering recent policies by the Obama administration and the fact that the military has been preparing for domestic deployment for the past several years.

Back in 2009, CNN reported that U.S. Northern Command (Northcom) wanted to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a severe outbreak in America.

The plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, wrote CNN correspondent Barbara Starr. There is no final decision on how the military effort would be manned, but one source said it would likely include personnel from all branches of the military.

A few months prior, Air Force General Victor Renuart said Northcom would provide assistance in support of civil authorities during an epidemic, adding when requested and approved by the Secretary of Defense or directed by the President, federal military forces will contribute to federal support.

But Renuart also said that U.S. Northcom does not wait for that call to action.

Since then, the federal government created a new domestic command structure in which, during a government-declared emergency, the military police would work under FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security for domestic operations with the National Guard

RAYMONDVILLE, Texas -- Two illegal immigrants from Mexico who were charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of an off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent in front of his family in Texas have been arrested and deported numerous times, police sources told FoxNews.com.

One suspect has been arrested no fewer than four times for entering the U.S. illegally, according to federal court records. The other has been deported twice after entering the U.S. illegally, sources said.

Seeking to file a complaint about the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter, Steve Wronko visited the Helmetta Police Department to air his grievances about the shelter falling prey to nepotism and corruption as a result of Helmetta Mayor Nancy Martin appointing her son Brandon Metz to head up the facility.

Ive made objections about whats going on at the shelter over there, Wronko tells the police officer, adding, My first and fourth amendment rights were violated, my civil rights were violated.

Obama just decimated the freakin Constitution, so I dont give a damn. If he doesnt follow the Constitution, we dont have to, responds the cop, brazenly violating the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution.

The comment is self-evidently shocking, but it also provides an insight as to how corruption from the very top reaches all the way down to the bottom, providing law enforcement with a twisted form of justification for their unconstitutional activities.

AN ILLEGAL POEM
By Illegal Immigrants

I cross river,
Poor and broke,

Take bus,
See employment folk.

Nice man
Treat me good in there,
Say I need
Go see Welfare.

Welfare say,
'You come no more,

We send cash
Right to your door.'

Welfare checks,
They make you wealthy,

Medicaid
It keep you healthy!

By and by,
Got plenty money,

Thanks to you, TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends
In motherland,

Tell them
'come, fast as you can'

They come in buses
And Chevy trucks,

I buy big house
With welfare bucks.

They come here,
We live together,

More welfare checks,
It gets better!

Fourteen families,
They moving in,

But neighbor's patience
Wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
Moves away,
..
I buy his house,
And then I say,

'Find more aliens
For house to rent.'

In my yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
They just trash,
....
But they, too,
Draw welfare cash!

Everything is
Very good,
Soon we own
Whole neighborhood.

We have hobby
It called breeding,

Welfare pay
For baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?

We get free!
We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
Running here.

We think America
Darn good place!
Too darn good
For white man race.
If they no like us,
They can go,
Got lots of room
In Mexico .

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show: It is common knowledge that President Obama doesn't care about the Constitution and has continually violated it. So when Speaker Boehner has the obligation to do something about it via the oath he took, and doesn't - what is the citizen to do? When our politicians refuse to use the powers bestowed upon them, such as the power of the purse - to stop the funding or certain government programs, or the power of impeachment but don't do so, where do we go? We're seeing the Executive Branch use more power than ever before with no consequences to it. We have the worst Presidential actions going on and Boehner and some House Republicans have already said that they won't begin the impeachment talk. Mark says there's no alternative anymore, the only solution must be what the Framer's had intended, written about, and voted it into the Constitution. A Convention of States would bring the power back to the state legislators and ultimately the American people. Mark talks about what Amendments he would take up if he was a legislator and how he would go about getting them done.

The president is ready to do amnesty, even though is bad for the country, because it is good politically for his party.
The Republicans are not impeaching, even though is good for the country and the right thing to do, because they feel is not good politically. They both forgot they were elected to serve the people and the country... confuse
We, the people, can't win...  no

You might be surprised to learn that Aunt Jemima--one of the most recognized faces in syrup and pancake mixes-- was a real person.

Anna Short Harringtonthe woman whose likeness became Aunt Jemima --was an actual employee of Quaker Oat who died in 1955.

Now her heirs want a piece of a fortune they believe is rightfully theirs.

D.W. Hunter, the great grandson of Harrington, filed a class action lawsuit against PepsiCo and its related subsidiaries on behalf of all of Harringtons great grandchildren.

The suit alleges that PepsiCo Inc., Quaker Oats, Pinnacle Foods and Hillshire Brands Co. deliberately withheld information that identified Harrington as a former employee of Quaker Oats while simultaneously exploiting her image and recipeswithout paying a fair share of royalties to her or related family members for over 60 years.

Hunter is seeking $2 billion, plus punitive damages, reports the Chicago Tribune

AUGUST 20--Meet Michael Johnson.

The 18-year-old New Mexico man was arrested Monday after allegedly driving a stolen Walmart electric shopping cart to a meeting with his probation officer.

Johnson drove the hot cart to the Metropolitan Courthouse in Albuquerque, where the teen resides. Johnson, whose rap sheet includes several arrests, is on probation for a conviction earlier this year.

According to a criminal complaint, when Megan Cutler, Johnsons probation officer, asked him where he got the shopping cart, he admitted to taking it from a Walmart about five miles from the courthouse. Johnson added that he did not have permission to take the cart.

So stupid, they have to remind him to breathe

Bill Clinton enjoys a Gurkha cigar, "the Rolls Royce of the cigar industry." He "loves the Gurkhas," Gurkha chief executive officer Kaizad Hansotia, maker of the HMR cigar, which stands for His Majesty's Reserve. It is, according to Hansotia, "the world's most expensive cigar."

One box is $25,000 -- and the price will rise next year to $30,000. "The cigars are close to $1,000 each," says the cigar boss to Bloomberg.

If you dont want to get shot, tased, pepper-sprayed, struck with a baton or thrown to the ground, just do what I tell you. Dont argue with me, dont call me names, dont tell me that I cant stop you, dont say Im a racist pig, dont threaten that youll sue me and take away my badge. Dont scream at me that you pay my salary, and dont even think of aggressively walking towards me. Most field stops are complete in minutes. How difficult is it to cooperate for that long? Sunil Dutta, an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for 17 years

Life in the American police state is an endless series of donts delivered at the end of a loaded gun: dont talk back to police officers, dont even think about defending yourself against a SWAT team raid (of which there are 80,000 every year), dont run when a cop is nearby lest you be mistaken for a fleeing criminal, dont carry a cane lest it be mistaken for a gun, dont expect privacy in public, dont let your kids walk to the playground alone, dont engage in nonviolent protest near where a government official might pass, dont try to grow vegetables in your front yard, dont play music for tips in a metro station, dont feed whales, and on and on.

For those who resist, who dare to act independently, think for themselves, march to the beat of a different drummer, the consequences are invariably a one-way trip to the local jail or death.

What Americans must understand, what we have chosen to ignore, what we have fearfully turned a blind eye to lest the reality prove too jarring is the fact that we no longer live in the city on the hill, a beacon of freedom for all the world.

Far from being a shining example of democracy at work, we have become a lesson for the world in how quickly freedom turns to tyranny, how slippery the slope by which a once-freedom-loving people can be branded, shackled and fooled into believing that their prisons walls are, in fact, for their own protection.

Having spent more than half a century exporting war to foreign lands, profiting from war, and creating a national economy seemingly dependent on the spoils of war, we failed to protest when the war hawks turned their profit-driven appetites on us, bringing home the spoils of warthe military tanks, grenade launchers, Kevlar helmets, assault rifles, gas masks, ammunition, battering rams, night vision binoculars, etc.to be distributed for free to local police agencies and used to secure the homeland against we the people.

Its not just the Defense Department that is passing out free military equipment to local police. Since the early 1990s, the Justice Department has worked with the Pentagon to fund military technology for police departments. And then there are the billions of dollars worth of federal grants distributed by the Department of Homeland Security, enabling police departments to go on a veritable buying spree for highly questionable military-grade supplies better suited to the battlefield.

Is it any wonder that we now find ourselves in the midst of a war zone?

We live in a state of undeclared martial law. We have become the enemy.

President Obama violated a clear and unambiguous law when he released five Guantanamo Bay detainees in exchange for Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, the Government Accountability Office reported Thursday.

[The Department of Defense] violated section 8111 because it did not notify the relevant congressional committees at least 30 days in advance of the transfer, the GAO report said. In addition, because DOD used appropriated funds to carry out the transfer when no money was available for that purpose, DOD violated the Antideficiency Act. The Antideficiency Act prohibits federal agencies from incurring obligations exceeding an amount available in an appropriation.

The GAO rejected the idea that the action was legal and sidestepped the Obama teams suggestion that the law is unconstitutional.

It is not our role or our practice to determine the constitutionality of duly enacted statutes, the report says. In our view, where legislation has been passed by Congress and signed by the President, thereby satisfying the bicameralism and presentment requirements in the Constitution, that legislation is entitled to a heavy presumption in favor of constitutionality.

School children in Elyria, Ohio are mourning the demise of a 40-year tradition the loss of their beloved pink cookie. The fabled cookie, long served in local school cafeterias, was done in by a pound of butter, six cups of powdered sugar and the Obama administrations food police.

It no longer meets the national school lunch program guidelines for snacks, said Amy Higgins, the spokesperson for Elyria City Schools. It has too many calories.

The USDA Smart Snacks in School standards mandate that all snacks must contain less than 200 calories. Its not exactly clear how many calories are in the pink cookie but the recipe for the frosting calls for a pound of butter

For two bloody months, an armed jihadist serial killer ran loose across the country. At least four innocent men died this spring and summer as acts of "vengeance" on behalf of aggrieved Muslims, the self-confessed murderer has now proclaimed. Have you heard about this horror? Probably not.

The usual suspects who decry hate crimes and gun violence haven't uttered a peep. Why? Like O.J.'s glove: If the narrative don't fit, you must acquit. The admitted killer will be cast as just another "lone wolf" whose familiar grievances and bloodthirsty Islamic invocations mean nothing.

I say: Enough with the whitewashing. Meet Ali Muhammad Brown. His homicidal Islamic terror spree took him from coast to coast. The 29-year-old career thug admitted to killing Leroy Henderson in Seattle in April; Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young in Seattle on June 1; and college student Brendan Tevlin, 19, in Essex County, New Jersey, on June 25. Tevlin was gunned down in his family Jeep on his way home from a friend's house. Ballistics and other evidence linked all the victims to Muhammad Brown. Police apprehended him last month hiding in an encampment near the Watchung Mountains of West Orange, New Jersey.

While he was on the run, he disguised himself in a Muslim keffiyeh. He carried a notebook with jihadist scribblings and advice on evading detection. I obtained the latest charging documents filed in Washington state, which detail the defiant domestic terrorist's motives.

Muhammad Brown told investigators that Tevlin's slaying was a "just kill." The devout Islamic adherent proclaimed: "My mission is vengeance. For the lives, millions of lives are lost every day." Echoing jihadist Fort Hood mass killer Nidal Hasan, Muhammad Brown cited Muslim deaths in "Iraq, Syria, (and) Afghanistan" as the catalysts for his one-man Islamic terror campaign. "All these lives are taken every single day by America, by this government. So a life for a life."

When a detective asked him to clarify whether all four murders were "done for vengeance for the actions of the United States in the Middle East," Muhammad Brown stated unequivocally: "Yes." He added that he was "just doing (his) small part."

Seattle's left-wing mayor, Ed Murray, rushed to issue a statement -- which might as well have sported an insipid "Coexist" bumper sticker across the page -- asserting that Muhammad Brown's seething, deadly hatred did "not reflect the values of Muslims." But the fact is Ali Muhammad Brown has plenty of company. Seattle alone has been a long-festering hotbed of anti-American, anti-Semitic jihadism.

Rice field rats are considered a delicacy in Cambodia

A unique harvest is under way in the rice fields of Cambodia where tens of thousands of wild rats are being trapped alive each day to feed a growing export market for the meat of rural rodents.

Popularly considered a disease-carrying nuisance in many societies, the rice field rats, Rattus argentiventer, of this small South-East Asian nation are considered a healthy delicacy due to their free-range lifestyle and largely organic diet.

Rat-catching season reaches its height after the rice harvest in June and July when rats have little to eat in this part of rural Kompong Cham province, some 60km from the capital Phnom Penh.

That lack of food coincides with seasonal rains that force the rodents onto higher ground, and into the 120 rat traps local farmer Chhoeun Chhim, 37, said he set each evening.

"Wild rats are very different. They eat different food," said Mr Chhim, explaining with a gourmand's intensity the difference between rice-field rats and their urban cousins, which he considers vermin unfit for the cooking pot.

Common rats "are dirty and they have a lot of scabies on their skin," Mr Chhim said. "That's why we don't catch them."

Somewhat proudly he listed off the superior eating habits of the rats he had caught the night before: rice stalks, the vegetable crops of unlucky local farmers, and the roots of wild plants.

#1 A new VA training guide compares our precious military veterans to Oscar the Grouch.

#2 Military veterans have been repeatedly labeled as potential terrorists in official government documents during the Obama years.

#3 According to a new report put out by the office of U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, the negligence of the VA while the Obama administration has been in charge may have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,000 veterans.

#4 Things have gotten so bad since Obama took over that some veterans have had to wait more than a year just to get an appointment with a doctor at a VA hospital.

#5 At one point during Obamas reign, it was taking more than half a year for the average claim for veteran benefits to be processed, and the Department of Veterans Affairs had a backlog of more than half a million overdue claims for benefits that were at least 125 days old.

#6 Thanks to budget cuts that the Obama administration gleefully pushed for, a lot of really good career officers are being forced out of the military. For example, earlier this month it was reported that more than 500 Army majorsand more than 1,100 Army captains were getting pink slips due to these budget cuts.

#7 Since Obama entered the White House, dozens of very high ranking officers such as generals and admirals have been purged from the ranks of the military. In a previous article, I included a very long list of the names of some of these officers. A significant number of them were known to disagree with the Obama administration on matters of military policy.

#8 During Obamas second term, the size of the U.S. Army is being reduced by a total of 60,000 soldiers.

#9 The size of the U.S. Air Force is going to be reduced by 500 planes over the next five years.

#10 According to retired Army Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis, the U.S. Air Force once had more than twice as many squadrons as it does today

Our tanker aircraft are on average 47 years old and our strategic bombers 34 years old, and besides, their numbers are totally insufficient for Americas global missions. For example, our air force shrank from 82 fighter squadrons at the end of the Cold War to 39 today and our Navy is in worse shape.
#11 Thanks in part of Obama, the U.S. Navy is already the smallest that it has been since World War I.

#12 Barack Obama has repeatedly used the military as a tool to advance the cause of political correctness.

#13 In an incredibly reckless move, the Obama administration left billions of dollars worth of military equipment in Iraq. Now ISIS has captured much of that equipment and is using it to take over vast portions of Iraq and Syria. It has been estimated that the equipment that ISIS has captured up to this point could equip an army of 200,000 soldiers.

#14 During the Obama years, sexual assaults in the U.S. military have soared to an all-time high, and most of the assaults have been male on male.

#15 In some areas of the country the Department of Veterans Affairs has been caught red-handed banning the words God and Jesus during funeral services for veterans.

#16 All over the United States, mental illness is being used as an excuse to take guns away from military veterans.

#17 Under the Obama administration, some military veterans have actually had to pay to have their medals shipped to them. For example, one soldier had to shell out a 21 dollar shipping fee just to get his Purple Heart.

#18 Barack Obama seems to have a particular disdain for the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal. In fact, he seems absolutely determined to do all that he can to gut it. The following is an extended excerpt from one of my previous articles

The convicted shooter in the Fort Hood massacre has written a letter to the leader of the Islamic State saying he wants to become a "citizen" of the caliphate, in the latest example of the terror group's reach inside the U.S.

The letter from Nidal Hasan, obtained by Fox News, comes after two Americans reportedly died fighting for ISIS in Syria. Sources late Wednesday identified the second as Abdirahmaan Muhumed, of Minneapolis. Fox affiliate KMSP-TV in Minneapolis reported that Muhumed was killed in the same battle as Douglas McArthur McCain, who grew up outside Minneapolis in the town of New Hope and most recently lived in San Diego.

The State Department said Thursday it could not confirm Muhumeds death and efforts to reach his family were unsuccessful.

In the undated letter, Hasan -- who fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 at Fort Hood in 2009 in what the Defense Department called workplace violence-- tells ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi that he wants to join the caliphate.

"I formally and humbly request to be made a citizen of the Islamic State,Hasan says in the handwritten document addressed to Ameer, Mujahid Dr. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

"It would be an honor for any believer to be an obedient citizen soldier to a people and its leader who don't compromise the religion of All-Mighty Allah to get along with the disbelievers."

The two-page letter includes Hasans signature and the abbreviation SoA fo

Listen to the experts. Challenge yourself to understand that looting isnt bad, and shouldnt be viewed as a violation of the rights of an innocent person or persons or a frontal assault on the essence of civilization itself.

No, looting and rioting are important human expressions for change that should be protected and celebrated. And perhaps subsidized via a pilot federal program.

Sadly, as Yamiche Alcindor reports for USA Today. When protesters burned down a convenience store near where a police officer fatally shot Michael Brown, many condemned it.

Oh, dear, how small-minded of them.

Thankfully, experts say the ensuing images on national television could become as much of a catalyst for social change as peaceful protests.

University of Missouri-St. Louis history professor Priscilla Dowden-White acknowledges that it is a challenge to see these primarily young males and females rioting and looting as part of protest, but it is.

You are talking about people who are living at or below the poverty line. You are talking about people who are the products of failing schools, she explains, and so I look at the looting as part of survival.

Still, one wonders just how sustainable looting might be for the people of Ferguson, Missouri. Or anywhere else.

The looters, the robbers, the chanters, the nonviolent protests, the sign-making all of it has value because it wouldn't be international if it wasn't for the looters, argues Amari Sneferu, a leader of the Universal African Peoples Organization who lives in nearby St. Louis.

Sneferu was reportedly proud of young people for what the newspaper described as taking matters into their own hands and not conforming to past nonviolent tactics, saying of one young man who stole a single hubcap, He just wanted to do something. That was his expression of outrage because a murderer is getting away with it."

Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, who graduated from a St. Louis high school and now hails from California where hes a scholar in residence at Stanford University, returned to protest in Ferguson. He also supported the violence, declaring that America created this. So folks took some tennis shoes, some big TVs that ended up on the black market whatever.

The owners of and workers at stores selling whatever were apparently and unfortunately unavailable for comment.

Duke Universitys Mark Anthony Neal, a professor of African and African-American studies (sporting an impressive three first names), notes that the nonviolent strategy of the civil rights movement of the 1960s may have been appropriate then, but not necessarily today.

On August 29, Michael Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety confirmed plans to give $1 million to Initiative 594, the gun control push in Washington state.
This means Bloomberg is coming alongside other one-percenters--like Bill Gates, Nicolas Hanauer, and Steve Ballmer--to heave gun control onto the shoulders of Washington state residents.
As Breitbart News reported on August 26, Gates and his wife have given $1 million for the gun control push, Hanauer has given well over a $1 million, and Ballmer and his wife have given nearly $600,000.
The gun control they are supporting--Initiative 594--will require an end to private gun sales in the state of Washington
