Judicial Watch: Air Force Documents Show President Obama Ran up $1,539,402.10 in Flight Expenses Alone for Labor Day 2014 Weekend Trips

NOVEMBER 18, 2014
After fundraising in Westchester, New York, Obama flew home to spend the night in his own bed before returning for a wedding, running up to $295,227.80 in additional expenses
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today it has obtained records from the United States Air Force revealing the flight cost for President Obamas Labor Day 2014 weekend trips for fundraising, personal business, and politicking came to a total of $1,539,402.10 in taxpayer-paid transportation expenses. The documents regarding the transportation expenses came in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed on September 2, 2014.

According to the newly released records obtained by Judicial Watch:

Flights for Obamas 2014 Labor Day weekend fundraising trips to Westchester, New York, and Providence, Rhode Island, cost taxpayers $527,192.50
Transportation for Obamas round-trip flight from D.C. to Westchester, New York, to attend a wedding cost taxpayers $358,490.90
The flight for Obamas trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to speak at Laborfest 2014 cost taxpayers $653,718.70
Obama began his Labor Day weekend by taking off on yet another flurry of fundraisers in the Northeast. He began his money-raising venture by heading to Westchester, New York, on Friday, August 29.

While in New York, Obama attended two fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee, one of them a BBQ at the home of former UBS CEO Robert Wolf. Obama later that day took off for Providence, Rhode Island, for a fundraiser at the private residence of former Nortek CEO Richard Bready and Betty Easton, where tickets cost up to $32, 400. This event marked Obamas ninth fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee this year.

Obama was originally scheduled to fly back to Westchester, New York, Friday night, spend the night there, then return to D.C. after attending the high-profile wedding of the White House chef Sam Kass to MSNBC host and liberal commentator, Alex Wagner on Saturday.

However, he changed plans last minute and flew to D.C. for the night and then flew back to New York. White Houses Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that this change allowed Obama to sleep in his own bed, do a little work tomorrow, spend some time with his family, and then travel back to New York. The difference between flying to Washington, D.C., instead of New York created an additional 1.4 hours spent in Air Force One, which adds up to $295,227.80 more in taxpayer dollars.

Obama wrapped up his Labor Day travel by flying to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, where he made a campaign speech at Laborfest 2014.

The timing is so senseless that it almost looks like Obama is deliberately trying to stir up domestic disorder.

Police departments across the country are preparing for riots in the aftermath of what many expect to be the acquittal of Officer Darren Wilson, a decision expected to be made within the next 36 hours.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn warns that Obamas plan to legalize as many as 5 million undocumented immigrants, set to be announced tonight, threatens to cause bedlam.

The countrys going to go nuts, because theyre going to see it as a move outside the authority of the president, and its going to be a very serious situation, Coburn said on Capital Download. Youre going to see hopefully not but you could see instances of anarchy. You could see violence.

Coburn went on to note that the country needed to be pulled together and not divided further, yet Obama has chosen to coincide his immigration announcement with the culmination of the most divisive domestic issue of the year, and one that already caused weeks of unrest this past summer.

Could the administration not have waited at least a few days to announce the amnesty plan, allowing any potential violence in reaction to the Wilson verdict to subside? Or is Obama deliberately trying to foster division in order to polarize the country as his only means of creating some form of momentum behind the immigration push?

Polls show that America is more deeply divided under Obama than at any time in the past two decades.

President Obama has committed a mind-boggling $3 billion to a new United Nations Green Climate Fund run by officials from Communist nations, a country that appears on the State Departments list of terrorism-sponsors and an Arab oil-industry chief.

As if it werent bad enough that our commander-in-chief is giving away money while the nation suffers through a colossal budget deficit, there are countless reasons why this is a lousy idea. First of all, the United Nations is a famously corrupt organization that is already largely funded by Uncle Sam to the tune of billions annually. The exact figure is tough to nail down because the U.S. cash flows, not just directly to U.N. coffers from the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), but also from a number of other government agencies to the U.N. system.

The entire world body is well known as a pillar of fraud

PITTSBURGH The Normal Barbie is now available for purchase, and children can soon add stretch marks, acne and a touch of cellulite to their dolls.

Last year, Nickolay Lamm created the Lammily Doll to mirror the average 19-year-old girls measurements as taken by the Center for Disease Control.

Lamm wanted to create a doll that would teach children what women actually looked like, so he digitally designed a doll that represented a woman who is 5-feet 4-inches and 165 pounds.

Let's hope they are NOT anatomically correct

PHOENIX, Ariz. (CBSDC/AP) Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced Thursday evening that he is filing a lawsuit against President Barack Obama for the executive action he is taking on immigration.
Arpaio told KNXV-TV that the president is conning the American public with his immigration plan.
He speaks a good game and I understand where hes coming from in a way. On the other hand, lets not con the American public. How are we going to keep track of these 5 million people? Arpaio said.

Obamas unconstitutional executive action to shield millions of undocumented immigrants, as The New York Times puts it, is a brazen effort to further impoverish the American middle class and convert the country into a third world wasteland.

This reality is ignored by the corporate media as it celebrates Obamas landmark betrayal of the Constitution.

The establishment media fails to point out the obvious: the federal government has merged a huge underclass into the system, specifically the tax system.

Details were spelled out by Neil Munro of The Daily Caller on Thursday. He noted that the legalization of illegals will impose further financial obligations on American taxpayers.

Illegal immigrants will receive huge payments from American taxpayers under rules now being imposed by President Barack Obamas unilateral amnesty, Munro writes.

He points out statements by Cecilia Munoz, a former immigration lobbyist who is now a top Obama aide. Munoz admitted millions of impoverished and near impoverished Mexican immigrants will become part of the tax system.

Munro cites a study showing that 47 percent of legal and illegal immigrants and their children are classified as living in poverty or in near-poverty.

Once these immigrants are enrolled in the tax system, Munro notes, they will be entitled to Earned Income Tax Credit payments. A family with two kids, and an income of $20,000, would receive $14,590 in taxpayer funds this year alone, he writes.

This huge transfer of wealth from productive Americans to a parasitical class of poverty-stricken immigrants will hasten the economic demise of the nation.

I think there will be a killin'

The protests in Ferguson, Mo., on Friday night grew larger than previous days gatherings of protesters, despite the rain and cold weather. Police officers used a megaphone to ask protesters to leave the street outside the Ferguson Police Department or they would be arrested. In this video, protesters responded by chanting F the police and shouting We dont give a f about your laws like you dont give a f about our lives.

Now the media, humiliated yet again, riot.
Ezra Klein of Vox.com asked, with the legal insight of a mentally malfunctioning goldfish, whether Michael Brown had an advocate in the grand jury hearing (the answer: thats not how grand juries work).
Fellow non-lawyer Chris Hayes of MSNBC lamented that the grand jury procedure was so far removed from normal criminal procedure its unrecognizable. The New York Daily News considered this obscene first mock-up headline: Killer Cop Goes Free.
With the media breathlessly covering the riots they helped to stoke in Ferguson, rioters set the city aflame. Shots were fired; protesters threw batteries, rocks and bottles; stores were looted. The media feigned head-shaking rue.
Meanwhile, President Obama explained that Americans who ignored all the evidence to convict Wilson were reacting in understandable fashion because, as always, evidence means nothing the left when in conflict with feelings and perception of victimhood.
Truthfully, the angry and sullen reactions of those who wanted Wilson tried are understandable. Theyre understandable because most Americans live in the evidence-free narrative created by malicious media liars, and the politicians they enable. They live in the evidence-free world of the political left, which maintains that America remains deeply racist, that every white cop is Bull Connor, and that every black man shot by police is a Selma marcher. So long as they live in that world, racial reconciliation will remain a dream, and racial polarization will remain a tool of the political and media elite to sell papers, raise cash, and drive votes.

DON'T LET YOUR REPRESENTATIVE CON YOU!

The Congressional Research Service (CRS) has concluded that House Appropriations Committee chairman Rep. Hal Rogers (R-KY) is wrong, and that Congress can in fact block funding for President Barack Obamas executive amnesty order.

Running in 2008, Obama said he intended to become a transformational president. With this decision, he succeeds. He has accelerated and ensured the remaking of America. Now when the wives and children of the illegals arrive, and their extended families apply for and receive visas, and bring their wives and children, we will become the Third World country of Obamas dream, no more a Western nation. But then the community organizer did not much like that old America.

From The Manitoba Herald:

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The recent actions of the Tea Party and the fact Republicans won the Senate are prompting an exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray, and to agree with Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck.

Canadian border farmers say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal-rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night.
"I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn," said Southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota . The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn't have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?"

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields. "Not real effective," he said. "The liberals still got through and Rush annoyed the cows so much that they wouldn't give any milk."

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons, and drive them across the border where they are simply left to fend for themselves. "A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions," an Ontario border patrolman said. "I found one carload without a single bottle of imported drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley cabernet, though." When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and watch NASCAR races.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half- dozen young vegans in powdered wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior-citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the '50s. "If they can't identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age," an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and are renting all the Michael Moore movies. "I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them," an Ottawa resident said. "How many art-history majors does one country need?"

In an effort to ease tensions between the United States and Canada , Vice President Biden met with the Canadian ambassador and pledged that the administration would take steps to reassure liberals. A source close to President Obama said, "We're going to have some Paul McCartney and Peter, Paul & Mary concerts. And we might even put some endangered species on postage stamps. The President is determined to reach out," he said.

Do you think Jonathan Gruber is the only government big shot with a very low opinion of the American people? Or is he the one who happened to be the most in need of attention and got caught strutting and preening on camera?

President Obama's senior adviser on science and technology is a guy named John Holdren. Like Gruber, Holdren is among the cognitive elite, smart enough get accepted at MIT. Unlike Gruber, Holdren has kept a low profile. And that's probably a good thing; otherwise people might ask about some of the outrageous things he has written and said.

Back in the late 70s Holdren was worried about mass starvation due to overpopulation. He suggested that it could be reasonable for a benevolent government to sterilize people by spiking their drinking water. President Obama's science czar now insists he never actually advocated coercive approaches to population control.

But just a few years ago, Dr. Holdren suggested that 1-billion people could be killed by "global warming" by the end of this decade. Never mind that warming has taken an 18-year hiatus that has baffled scientists. John Holdren and many other "experts" want the government, not the marketplace, to decide which energy sources are best for you. Of course, they'll stick you with the bill.

The federal government has grown so gargantuan, all-encompassing, and self-contradictory that one must break the law in order to obey it. The CEOs of Honeywell International, Inc. and two smaller companies are learning this lesson the hard way.

These firms are complying with Obamacare, which lets them offer wellness programs to their employees. These activities help workers lose weight, quit smoking, receive regular checkups, and otherwise become healthier. As an incentive, Obamacare offers participating employees as much as a 50 percent reduction in out-of-pocket medical expenses. Workers who avoid such programs, however, could face resulting surcharges of up to $4,000.

The comically titled Affordable Care Act requires that employees in these programs undergo medical tests to qualify for lower premiums. Unfortunately, such exams violate the Americans with Disabilities Act. In short, the ADA is allergic to the ACA.
So, in a truly staggering plot twist, Obamas Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has sued New Jerseybased Honeywell, as well as Orion Energy Systems and Flambeau. The latter two enterprises are headquartered in Wisconsin. These companies efforts to follow Obamacare have landed them in federal court. In Obamas America, even cooperative companies face federal wrath.

Theres no easy way to say this, so Ill just say it: Were no longer No. 1. Today, were No. 2. Yes, its official. The Chinese economy just overtook the United States economy to become the largest in the world. For the first time since Ulysses S. Grant was president, America is not the leading economic power on the planet.

It just happened and almost nobody noticed.

THANKS, OBAMA

The fix is in as usual. We have a completely corrupt government:

WASHINGTON Wall Street lobbyists are trying to secure taxpayer backing for many derivatives trades as part of budget talks to avert a government shutdown.

According to multiple Democratic sources, banks are pushing hard to include the controversial provision in funding legislation that would keep the government operating after Dec. 11. Top negotiators in the House are taking the derivatives provision seriously, and may include it in the final bill, the sources said.

The bank perks are not a traditional budget item. They would allow financial institutions to trade certain financial derivatives from subsidiaries that are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. potentially putting taxpayers on the hook for losses caused by the risky contracts. Big Wall Street banks had typically traded derivatives from these FDIC-backed units, but the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial reform law required them to move many of the transactions to other subsidiaries that are not insured by taxpayers.

Last year, Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) introduced the same provision under debate in the current budget talks. The legislative text was written by a Citigroup lobbyist, according to The New York Times. The bill passed the House by a vote of 292 to 122 in October 2013, 122 Democrats opposed, and 70 in favor. All but three House Republicans supported the bill.

It wasnt clear whether the derivatives perk will survive negotiations in the House, or if the Senate will include it in its version of the bill. With Democrats voting nearly 2-to-1 against the bill in the House, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) never brought the bill up for a vote in the Senate.

We're so screwed!

A Border Patrol agent is suffering multiple head fractures after an illegal alien attacked him and bashed his head in with a rock, according to several Border Patrol agents who spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity. The attack occurred near the Ajo Station of the Tucson Sector.

The agent was new to the U.S. Border Patrol agency. According to the sources, the illegal alien tackled the agent and used a rock to bash the agent's head.

A drug trafficking group was apprehended earlier in the day, according to the sources. When the agent was attacked, he reportedly deployed intermediate weapons such as OC spray and a baton. One Border Patrol agent source told Breitbart Texas, "After the Ferguson ordeal, agents are so apprehensive about using their firearm that incidents like these may become more frequent. Agents are so hesitant that it is actually risking our lives."

A man with a toy gun attempted to rob a pharmacy but was shot by the pharmacist armed with a real handgun.

The would-be robber is now in the hospital after he brandished a toy gun at the Medicap Pharmacy in Cheyenne, Wyo., and demanded narcotics on Saturday.

The 42-year-old pharmacist shot the suspect once in the chest, the Cheyenne Police Dept. said in a press release published on Facebook.

Local residents who responded to the press release were overwhelmingly supportive of the pharmacist.

Lesson learned, dont bring a toy gun to a real gun fight, one resident commented. Good job to the pharmacist for being a responsible gun owner.

Although anti-Second Amendment advocates constantly claim that gun control is necessary to get guns out of the hands of criminals, this attempted robbery shows that robbers dont necessarily need real guns to commit armed crimes.

The suspect tried to rob a pharmacy with a toy gun, and if it wasnt for the Second Amendment, he would have been successful at it.

Also, the fact that the man was so desperate for drugs that he attempted to rob a pharmacy with a toy gun speaks volumes about the failed War on Drugs.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The State Department has failed to turn over government documents covering Hillary Rodham Clinton's tenure as secretary of state that The Associated Press and others requested under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act ahead of her presumptive presidential campaign. They include one request AP made four years ago and others pending for more than one year.

The agency already has missed deadlines it set for itself to turn over the material.

The State Department denied the AP's requests, and rejected the AP's subsequent appeals, to release the records sought quickly under a provision in the law reserved for journalists requesting federal records about especially newsworthy topics.

In its requests, the AP cited the likely prospect of Clinton entering the 2016 race. The former first lady is widely considered the leading Democratic contender hoping to succeed President Barack Obama. She has made scores of recent high-profile speeches and public appearances.

On Wednesday, the conservative political advocacy group Citizens United sued the State Department for failing to disclose flight records showing who accompanied Clinton on overseas trips.

Citizens United, which in 2009 mounted a legal battle that led to the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning campaign finance limits, said the department unlawfully was withholding the records it sought nearly five months ago

Spokane Valley, Washington -- a local resident asked two deputies why police would need vehicles specifically designed for warfare abroad.

I mean, weve got a lot of constitutionalists and a lot of people that stockpile weapons, lots of ammunition, one deputy says. They have weapons here locally.

The startling admission not only points to active surveillance of legal gun owners, but of those who support the countrys founding document, further solidifying concerns among law-abiding citizens that police are receiving military equipment and training in order to target conservative Americans.

The deputys specific mention of constitutionalists, a broad term covering millions of Americans, as opposed to criminals in general, also indicates a clear training mindset linked to the FBI and Homeland Security, two groups which have absurdly labeled liberty-lovers as terror threats.

Despite Australias gun control laws, a gunman held hostages for 16 hours at a Sydney cafe, resulting in at least three deaths including the perpetrator.

Australias gun laws, which have nearly eradicated private gun ownership in the country, allowed Man Haron Monis, 49, to walk into the Lindt Chocolate Cafe and take hostages at gunpoint Sunday because he neither encountered nor likely expected any resistance.

Monis had no intention to obey the countrys gun laws because he was willing to commit violent crimes anyway.

After the Port Arthur massacre in 1996, Australian lawmakers enacted heavy restrictions on gun ownership, including a ban on semi-automatic weapons.

There is little evidence to suggest that it had any significant effects on firearm homicides or suicides, researchers at the University of Melbourne, Australia, discovered after a study.

If peaceful, law abiding Australians were allowed to carry guns, Monis may have thought twice about storming the cafe, but even if he didnt, armed citizens could have still fought back.

Of course this logic wont be promoted by politicians whod rather use the tragedy to enact more gun restrictions which only result in more violent crimes by criminals who dont obey laws to begin with.

So why do big government politicians promote gun control to begin with if it doesnt work as intended? Because disarmed populations are easier to control.

John, your last paragraph was the main reason, if not the only reason, the 2nd ammendment was conceived by the Founding Fathers. It was not for your self-defense against your fellow citizen, but self-defense against an overreaching goverment. They had just defeated the king of England, a king being the closest thing to an absolute dictator, and they did not want history to repeat itself. They wanted citizens to have access to the same weaponry, "arms", as the government. "Arms" being non specific, all encompassing term: if bows then bows, if laser then laser. We, the people, and the government on equal terms. We, the people, will always outnumber the government. Like Reagan said: " my idea of war is this: we win, you lose".

Police departments across the United States are now using a program that mines Internet comments and social media posts to determine the threat score of a suspect before cops arrive on the scene.

Reuters reports that law enforcement authorities have utilized an application called Beware since 2012 that takes just seconds to crawl billions of records in commercial and public databases to assign a threat rating to an individual green, yellow or red.

Yet it does far more scanning the residents online comments, social media and recent purchases for warning signs. Commercial, criminal and social media information, including, as Intrado vice president Steve Reed said in an interview with urgentcomm.com, any comments that could be construed as offensive, all contribute to the threat score.

The program also allows the routine code enforcement of a nanny state, allowing homeowners who have failed to trim their trees to be targeted, as well as being used for fishing expeditions and revenue generation.

An annual subscription to Beware costs police departments around $36,000 dollars a year, the majority of which is covered by federal grants. The program represents another step towards predictive policing, with the report noting that one recent speaker at a national law enforcement conference compared future police work to Minority Report, the Tom Cruise film set in 2054 Washington, where a PreCrime unit has been set up to stop murders before they happen.

I imagine my score is pretty high---I'll take that as a compliment

They talked about whether Clinton was using a walker (she wasn't). They talked about people talking about whether Clinton was using a walker (She still wasn't).

What they didn't do was buy the magazine. According to a report from AdWeek on Monday, the June 16 issue of People featuring the former first lady and senator was the magazine's worst selling of 2014

At least 150 females, including pregnant women, were executed in Fallujah by a militant named Abu Anas Al-Libi after they refused to accept jihad marriage, said the Ministry. The Supreme Court ruled this week that police officers will not be held accountable for violating the rights of Americans if they have a mistaken understanding of legislation.

In other words, if a cop doesnt know the law, they can do whatever they want to you.

The ruling stems from an incident in 2009 when a police officer violated the Fourth Amendment by stopping and searching a drivers vehicle after making up his own law.
