A SWAT team raided co-owner Joe Palumbo's Albion Gun Shop without a warrant. They were acting on orders from the Narcotics Enforcement Unit, who asked the shop to hand over a customer list so they could determine how many people had purchased New York SAFE Act compliant rifles. The gun owner was forced to present approximately 170 sales records. Under the state's anti-gun law, this intrusion was completely legal.

Palumbo thought he was following the law by offering "bullet button" AR-15s, guns that are modified to comply with the SAFE Act's new rules. He was more or less assured by state police:

According to Palumbo (gun store owner), he said he had spoken with state police last year in regards to the legality of selling AR-15's with the bullet button attachment. He said police advised him that it should be "ok" but wouldn't guarantee him an answer until someone goes to court for it.

Yet, that hasn't seemed to stop the state from repeatedly checking in on him.

Critics claim that exchanges such as these prove that the SAFE Act is arbitrary and confusing:

The New York S.A.F.E. Act is being enforced arbitrarily on a case by case basis, Tresmond said. That amounts to unconstitutional vagueness under the Supreme Courts Morales standard, and the law should be enjoined for that reason alone.

In addition to the legislation's head scratching details, the SAFE Act has succeeded in turning otherwise law-abiding gun owners into criminals by turning misdemeanors like firearm possession into more serious charges. Last year, after the law's implementation, over 1,200 felonies were recorded in the state. No wonder I saw so many "Repeal the SAFE Act" when driving through upstate New York last month.

As a result of the continuous interruptions to his business, Palumbo intends to file a lawsuit against the state.

Wednesday on Newsmax TV's "The Steve Malzberg Show," Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) detailed a private classified meeting she had with the FBI to ask if any citizens from Minnesota were fighting with ISIS.
Bachmann said she was told there are two, which has since been reported, but the congresswoman stressed when she asked if they would be allowed to return the agents said after extra scrutiny they would.
In response the Minnesota lawmaker has proposed in the House, "The Terrorist Denaturalization and Passport Revocation Act," which would strip the citizenship of Americans who join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) to fight.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has introduced similar legislation in the Senate.

The Department of Homeland Security has fined an American and a Canadian $5,000 each for crossing the U.S./Canada border, fines which are never assessed on thousands of illegal aliens who are detained by Border Patrol daily.

The two men, a 40-year-old American and a 44-year-old Canadian, were walking down a dirt road with mountain bikes near the border when they were approached by a Border Patrol agent.

Questioning by the agent revealed that the two suspects illegally entered the U.S. from Canada, stated a Customs and Border Patrol press release. Subsequently, both males were arrested for violation of U.S. law and transported to the Rangeley Station for further processing.

Following database verifications, Border Patrol agents turned over both subjects to CBP officers at the Coburn Gore port of entry for assessment of fines and penalties.

Both men were assessed a $5,000 civil penalty under 19 USC 1459 for Failure to Report to border officials and its unlikely that either of them crossed the border in pursuit of Obamas de facto amnesty for illegal aliens.

Since this is an administrative fine, the individuals do not have to go through a judicial process and will have approximately 30 days to pay the fine, the press release added.

Of course, when it comes to illegals entering America who are eight times more likely to vote for Democrats than Republicans, theyre not fined but rather pampered with free food, shelter, medical care, and bus tickets to anywhere in the nation.

A San Diego State University sophomore was forced to remove an American flag from his balcony after apartment managers said foreigners could find the display offensive.

Brad Smith, who had just moved into the Boulevard 63 apartment complex in San Diego last month, told ABC 10 News that he received a written notice to remove the flag a few days ago.

We were then told that it was for political reasons and that the flag could offend foreign people that live here, foreign exchange students, Smith said. Ive had friends and family fight to defend that flag.

Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development.

Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing.

Clintons relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.

The letters obtained by the Free Beacon are part of the archives for the Industrial Areas Foundation, a training center for community organizers founded by Alinsky, which are housed at the University of Texas at Austin.

The letters also suggest that Alinsky, who died in 1972, had a deeper influence on Clintons early political views than previously known.

A 23-year-old Hillary Clinton was living in Berkeley, California, in the summer of 1971. She was interning at the left-wing law firm Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein, known for its radical politics and a client roster that included Black Panthers and other militants.

The number of working-age adults in the United States with limited proficiency in English has more than doubled since 1980, according to a new Brookings Institution study. Immigrants proficient in English, the study notes, tend to earn substantially higher incomes.

English proficiency is a strong predictor of economic standing among immigrants, regardless of the amount of education they have attained, and it is associated with the greater academic and economic success of the workers children, the study found.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the rise comes out to nearly 1 in 10 adults who lack sufficient English skills, two and a half times more than three decades ago. Two-thirds of those lacking proficiency are Spanish speakers.

In large cities, the numbers are even higher. For example, in Los Angeles and Miami, the Journal reports almost 25 percent of adults lack proficient English. The study also finds that cities such as Indianapolis have witnessed a near 100 percent increase in limited-English speakers since 2000.

All he cares about is the outcome, achieving his radical political ends, which is why we got to do everything we can despite the media not paying attention to this issue we need to focus on it.
Bachmann, who said she thinks its great Attorney General Eric Holder is resigning from office at long lastand "should have resigned a long time agobacked a strategy by Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) that all U.S. Senators should vote against any Attorney General nominee if that nominee does not oppose Obama's planned executive amnesty.
Hes a thousand percent right, Bachmann said of Sessions strategy. The best senator that we have in the U.S. Senate on the issue of illegal immigration is Jeff Sessions. Bar none. He has led the way in the Senate and actually myself and Congressman Steve King were working with him in the week leading up to the great legislation we got through the House of Representatives. We actually got decent legislation and in part its because of the work we did with Sen. Jeff Sessions.
The legislation Bachmann is referring to were two separate bills the House passed right before August recess. The first toughened immigration asylum restrictions and gave resources to the federal government to halt the border crisis, and the second one defunded the presidents plans for an executive amnesty making it illegal for him to use taxpayer resources to grant illegal aliens work permits or other documents. As the House debated and passed those billsthe first time the Republican Party has been almost universally united against amnesty since the 2012 electionHouse Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi lost control of herself and twice waved her finger in the face of GOP Rep. Tom Marino of Pennsylvania, chasing him across the House floor.
They [the Democrats] went apoplectic, Bachmann said. She [Pelosi] actually chased after a Republican in Congress. She was completely unhinged because her policy is unhinged to give blanket amnesty to people who break our laws to come into the United States. We have a huge problem with amnesty for illegal aliensits a national security risk."
"It means taking away millions of jobs from American citizens and it further means lowering of wages and benefit packages for Americans," she continued. "Were seeing a plumping up of the welfare rolls well into the future. Why would we do this? Why would we add to our welfare rolls? Why would we pull away good jobs from Americans? Why would we lower their wages? Thats why the American people are outraged over illegal immigration, and I really think it is a traitorous act to not bring attention to the fact that the president has announced he is going to grant blanket amnesty and the media is completely ignoring the story. It's the biggest story of this year other than the tragedy with the Islamic State and Islamic jihad.

The petition was sent to Thomas Homan of Enforcement Removal Operations at the Department of Homeland Security, Thomas Winkowksi of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Sarah Kendall of the Office of Fraud Detection and National Security at DHS.

Klayman explained it is based on the grounds that he has falsified various birth and other documents with regard to obtaining a U.S. passport and other privileges as an alleged American citizen.
