Where can a man find socket head cap screws knobs? I want to put them on my t/d limb bolts so I can tight them down by hand. No store in town carries them. I found some on Amazon, but they want $16 for 4 of them. All other places on line you have to buy bulk. Any suggestions? Thanks.

There is a "Fastenall" store near the Wal-Mart in Harrodsburg that may have what you want if you are ever over this way.

Jose',

If you have some old deer antlers you don't mind cutting the knobs off of you can make a set of knobs pretty easily. with a dremel tool and some 5-minute epoxy.

Well, I got the knobs from McMaster Carr. What kind of epoxy should I use? 5-minute?
I tried pressing one in with my vise and went too far. How can I get the knob off without breaking it? Thanks guys.

It is my understanding that the slow epoxy is the stronger.

Make sure that the metal to be glued is totally clean with no fingerprints.

Not sure about the knob removal.

Got it off.
When I get back from ME next week I will work on getting the epoxy and see how will that work. I'd like to have them ready for the next shoot.
