Hello All,

This is in reference to the new gun control laws being considered in congress, I prefer not to post political toics but this is important enough to me to make an exception.
 
The fact are the facts, disarming and/or hampering law abiding citizens ability to defend themselves will not put a single dent in crime, nor will it prevent bad people from doing bad things (Newtown, Aurora, etc).
I would be happy to discuss why the Washington DC proposals will not work, and point you to the facts you will not see on the main stream media.

I have spoke to many who have not made their voices heard concerning these new gun control laws, they have said that they would do so if an easy method was available, well here you go:

You can send emails to the President, Vice-President, your US Senators, and US House Representatives; all at once with about five minutes of your time.
You will need to make sure that you fill out every block with the red asterisk (I missed the prefix), and you will need your zip code with the additional four numerals.

You do not need to be a member of the NRA to use this tool, but I hope you are, or will consider joining.

Dan, I dont think you will find anyone on this board of a different mindset. Thanks for the link, I'll get right on it. Yes, if you are not a member, now is the time to remedy it. If you are a member, make a gift of a membership to a family or friend. I myself have considered buying memberships for Dine Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the entire Obama family. Imagine the delight on their faces when they get their membership card and monthly magazine subscription ! JOIN THE NRA.

There is a thought that Obama may do it by Executive Order to give House Dems some cover in the 2014 election. Everyone should write those same Dems and let them know that they will be held accountable for such actions. There can be no cover or subterfuge allowed on this. What it does show is that this is not about those poor kids murdered in Connecticut,it's all about politics.

Read the letter, if you want to personalize it, have at it - might take you more than five minutes in that case.

Otherwise, just send the standard form letter, they are not reading it anyway, some staff member is just putting a check in the yay or nay column.

Copy it out of here and send it to everyone in your address book, too many people tell me they "don't have time" - BS, it takes minutes, explain this to them.

We really need to put the push on Congress, O must have read his Constitution (or more likely, someone read it for him), and realized that he could not ban guns or magazines through an executive order.

Instead, he once again put it on Congress - You must write now, again even if you have before.
