Chris Gibbin's & Larry Morgan's emails came back undeliverable - please spread the word to them if you can.

My current member's list is probably out of date, so if you guys can make sure each other know, that would be great.

Spread The Word!

Thanks,
Dan

What are we voting on? Changes to the rules... Changes to the bylaws... Or have we never done this before...

Just curious... I've never been in the inner workings of the club... and most of the time haven't been able to even attend meetings, etc. Due to time constraints, job conflicts, etc.

Interesting... there's not a copy of the originals anywhere?

I figured there would have to be a copies provided for the club to be incorporated or for insurance coverage, etc. and that either of those may still have the originals...

I propose a change to scoring. A line must be CUT to score the next higher score---just sayin'

doesn't matter to me, but there are people---not necessarily in our club---who can bend the shaft and make it touch. I'd really like to see +1 for inside the 8 ring and minus 1 for foam outside. zero for a miss. I know, I'm different

Also NO ONE should be allowed to keep his own score. We should promote the concept of no-nonsense integrity, and become known for it.

On the outer part of the 8 theres a line showing the outer most part of that score, the line is part of the 8,same on the 10 ring and the 12 ring.If your shaft touchs you score higher score. All other shoots ive attended all score this way.Its left up to the scorekeeper and witness to determine if shaft touchs to recieve higher score.

my thoughts on this are that if you touch or cut the line you are going to have a judgement call either way. two different people could look at an arrow cutting into the line and one says it is cut all the way through and the other guy will say no it likes just a tiny bit to cut it through. In my opinion it is much easier to judge a touch than a cut through. Just sayin.

As long as we let it be known throughout the shooting world that we never let that math disabled Cowels EVER touch a score card, we'll be good .

tournaments .Blanket,2-day and top 10 are the only shoots we have that prizes and awards are given.Wording of stated rules refer to all shoots as tournaments.Forgot we compete for overall score,.I guess we do shoot 12 tournys.  2 cards,2 scorekeepers,1 caller. This would insure no one keeps their own card and a consistant call on scoring. This is similar to the tradfest scoring method. My opinion is to use this method of scoring for the Blanket and 2-Day Clsssic .The top 10 uses an official judge[pres. and v.p. last years judges].

Since the qualifiers for the top ten are taken from the best 5 scores through out the year, ALL shoots are a competition. If you want to get right down to it.
