One a straight limb Hill type and an R/D Hill type. Now all I need is to have someone show me how to shoot a Hill bow.The R/D bow is smooth and not much hand shock, the other a bit of shock but not bad really. Ol' Lew done good work.

Tim, those are beautiful longbows..I've noticed over the years, traditional archery goes through bow phases. For a while you'll see more recurves..Then it will be r/d longbows, then selfbows! Lately it's been ILF or as Cowles would say, FLI...IFL, What do you call that GD thing Nails got? But I've notice a trend toward Hill style longbows..I forgot how good they shoot! At the Tyler Roberts shoot I picked up an old Ben Pearson woven glass backed longbow from the 50's.. It's a 69" and 49# Hill style bow.. Believe it or not! It's the best shooting longbow I've ever owned! I'm really glad people are getting back to the American semi longbow!
