Elburg Broadheads

OK, we all know of the Grizzlys and Wolverines but when Harry came to the club that day a few years back he brought with him and I bought a dozen heads from him of the "skeleton" type. Anyone know what he called those or were they actual production heads or a failed model of which he kept a few ? They look pretty much like the other two but have the skeleton ferrule.

he made those in both straight and serrated edge. That was in the 90's, I believe, and that austrailian head was popular in the states at the time. He made a little hand press, and would push the point of his through the aussie one for a demonstration. They never caught on. He told me the name, but I can barely remember my own.

They appear to be an early take on the single bevel. The bevels on opposite sides are much more angled than the other sides. There's a bevel on all edges but one bevel on each side is wider and more angled.

I still have 2 or 3 of those heads, the tip broke off one of them. Andy Croizer, ICO that used to come to the club shoots quite a bit gave me some several years ago. He was pretty tight with Mr. Elburg. I should be able to find out the name of them.

They are called Cheetahs...same name as the bow model. Made a limited run of them according to Andy.

I still have some of Harry's Cheetahs. I also bought a dozen from the MI boy many years ago at a KY Klassic. Good heads.

God bless, José
