those are OK, but for the same $$ you can get a better made bow used. Give us a ballpark dollar amount, and we'll help you look. Don't overbow yourself.

I have the itch for a longbow. Never shot one, just want one! Finding myself finacially challenged I am mulling over an inexpensive import (Samick. Ragim, etc.) or making my own. Anyone here have any advice?
I agree with John. More for your money buying a used bow. Keep coming to shoots, they show up. Ten years ago building my first glass longbow cost me about $700 with the equipment I bought, building a form, a hot box and materials. Not so cheap doing that if you don't want to build several
Yeah, I need to be patient. Been workin' on that for almost 50 years and still not too good at it. I need to focus more on shooting what I have before adding any new gear into the mix. Given time I'll find exactly something I don't need but really want and away we'll go. Thanks for the advice!
