RER bow

Dale and me went down to Bowling Green yesterday to visit Ron Denton. He had cancer treatment a few weeks back and still has a ways to go. About 3 years ago he bought a takedown RER bow. He only got to shoot it the first year. The past couple of years it has not been used. It is 64" long and 55#@28". It has a smooth draw with no stacking, is very fast and dead in the hand. This bowyer has a great following and gets a pretty penny for his bows. It also has antler knobs Ron made. It is a real looker. Ron wants $450.00 for this bow which is a great price due to condition, what they currently sell for and what he paid. I haven't got pics right now but I will have it at the club Sat. Steve

I was there the year he bought it, it is a nice bow. Unfortunately i'm bow rich and money poor. Hope Ron gets to feeling better. Tell him me and the missus say "Hi !"

No John it's not about him needing the money. He's retired and doing ok. He still hopes to shoot archery again but it could be another year. He had his shoulder replaced (that's when they found the cancer) and he will need to go to a lighter bow. I offered to try and sell this bow for him at the shoots I go to this year. FYI he still has to go through radiation and kemp treatments but... He is a tough bird!
