Boys, I just read in the paper here in FL, front page no less, about the results of a study done to determine numbers of mammals in the Everglades. ALL numbers are down for all mammals. Some of them, like coons/possums are down >90%. Critters like the swamp rabbit were NEVER seen at all. The culprit, they believe, is the burmese python that is running loose eating everything. They had a picture of one they killed with a recently eaten deer.
Jose, I think they did open a season on them about a year ago. I don't know you can hunt them any time of year though.. I would love to shoot some but I heard you are not allowed to have python skins anymore.
