We are SCREWED

Boys, I know this is supposed to be an archery/hunting website, but I have to bring this up: Washington is running the printing presses 24/7 and planning to bail out EUROPE! No joke.

So what? The stock market will soar. Your 401k will grow. BUT we will see record inflation.

a PSE recurve will be $700 and it will cost $15 for a big mac.

I contacted my congressmen and representatives this morning, and I urge you to do the same. Tell them you will vote them out---and then do it.furiousfuriousfuriousfuriousfurious

Bail out Europe, we can't even bail our selves out. What are they thinking ???

Stupid, rediculous, outrageous, we must have a bunch of MORONS running the country. Lets vote them all out and put in a brand new bunch of morons. My two cents......... just sayin.

John, maybe just call me John Galt, but I still fall back on my position from about 5 years ago. I don't believe the country can be saved from itself. It will have to collapse and then we can rebuild it. NONE of the Washington types can be trusted. And they sureas hell can't be relied on to fix anything that's broken. It's a damn shame.

a letter I got from Sen. Mike Pence:

Dear John:

People ID: 7172196

Thank you for contacting me in opposition to a U.S. bailout of Greece. It was a pleasure to hear from you.

On May 9, 2010 the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Union (EU) announced the creation of the European Stabilization Mechanism, a lending facility to provide financial assistance to European countries. The IMF is responsible for approximately one-third of the contributions under this agreement. With the U.S. being the largest contributor to the IMF, American taxpayers will liable for up to 17 percent of the loans made by the IMF.

It is my strong belief that Congress must oppose a European bailout through the IMF. With the U.S. facing high unemployment and a $14.3 trillion debt, American taxpayers should not bear the burden of nations that have failed to live within their means. Across the State of Indiana, Hoosier families are tightening their belts and making the tough decisions necessary to live within their means. It is time that both the U.S. and Greece followed suit without turning to the American taxpayer for a bailout.

For these reasons, I support measures that would prohibit the U.S. from participating in a bailout of European countries, including Greece. Rest assured, should legislation on this issue come to the House floor, I will keep your thoughts in mind.

Again, thank you for contacting me. It is an honor to serve in the United States House of Representatives and have the benefit of your advice. If you would like more information on this or any other issue, please visit my website at http://mikepence.house.gov and sign up to receive regular e-newsletters.

Letter Number: 7057736

Warmest regards,

Mike Pence
Member of Congress

and one from Dick Luger:

Dear Mr. Nail:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the International Monetary Fund and Europe. I appreciate this opportunity to respond.

I have taken the liberty of forwarding your concerns to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. I trust that your concerns will receive careful attention. I will promptly share with you any materials or information I receive in reply.

In the wake of the global financial crisis, it is more important than ever to press for changes and improved efficiency not only at the International Monetary Fund but also at the World Bank and the regional development banks. These are issues that I have been examining for many years. These institutions provide important assistance to many countries, but we must have confidence that they can manage resources effectively, efficiently, and transparently. At my direction, my staff has prepared a report on needed reforms for the IMF and the multilateral development banks built on my many years of oversight efforts. This report, "The International Financial Institutions: A Call for Change," can be accessed at http://tinyurl.com/33ptk9n.

Again, thank you for this opportunity to be of assistance.

Sincerely,

Richard G. Lugar
United States Senator

Just as some of the other areas of helping other countrys, you find out later that the people in charge will take advantage of the situation and take the largest portion of the help what ever it might be for them selves. We don't need to be making more eropeans Millionaires. If they don't do any better job of controling what happens with the money. That is exactly what will happen.

Yeah John, that part of the Constitution seems to have fallen to the wayside like a lot of things in this country. Now it seems to be the Government Of The Bigshot Polititions by the Bigshot Polititions, For the Bigshot Polititions.
