Eddie Alexander and I took a little impromptu trip to LBL for a short weekend hunt. Friday evening I managed to blow an easy 8 yard shot on a button buck, but redeemed myself a little this morning with a little 8 pointer at 4 yards! He was so close the shot was straight down, and I only got one lung, but one was enough,he ran maybe 130 yards and piled up. I field dressed him, hauled my gear back to the truck, took my bow and empty backpack back and proccessed the deer and made it back to the truck before Eddie.
