Boys, the quail are coming back up here. They are calling all over my property. This one is justt outside my window.

Evening would be beter, John. They come out mornings, but real early. Lots of little rabbits, also.

I sure miss that song... I've not heard quail it seem with any regularity for years...

 Jonathan, I think I'm done with dogs. Hard to explain, but if you read my story "Old Sue", You'll see that I had one as near perfection as I'll ever have. Sort of like losing a woman you really love......you just never find that again.

Quail, on the other hand, I can love just for being Quail.biggrin
