Well, I saw deer, but they smelled me first. Then the Turkeys came in at 15 yards, and blew out as I tried to draw.......Hunting on the ground is SO much fun!!
I didn't see anything in the woods today, but this afternoon when i was putting some air in the tractor tire I heard something and when I looked a nice doe walked past the front of the tractor not 6 yards away. She spooked when I took the airchuck off the tire but then she casually walked down the drive and into the thicket by the road.

I saw 2 does Sunday morning while hunting on the ground. No turkeys. I did find what looks like a hot spot in an area that I haven't hunted before. I'm considering taking Friday off and spending a long weekend at camp. Looks like the weather is going to cool off a bit later in the week.
