You guys are welcome to camp friday and saturday night if you wish. Bring food though, as there won't be a full time food vendor, there will be food during saturday and sunday lunch though.
It is May 14-15, 50 targets both days, high score of combined 2 days is the "Ironman".
Saturday is Traditional only, Sunday Trad or compounds, but the last 2 years compounds have made a small showing, and we had no problems with a backed up, slow course. Most of the wheel guys don't shoot trad on saturday, so they have no chance of winning the shoot, and you know how they are about winning.......Plus, its not a money shoot, just trophies and braggin rights.
Jesse Arnold won the last 2 years shooting longbow both days !
You guys feel free to trade around if you want, but don't expect any vendors. They are welcome, but we really did not advertise it like we did the "KyTradFest"
We started this shoot in partners with Mercer County Archery, and Mercer County Fish and Game Club as a fund raiser for the Game Club.
Still should be alot of fun though, I think we had something like 100 shooters last year.
You guys are more than welcome to shoot all 100 targets on saturday, and than you can attend the ITBA workday sunday, and still be in the running as "Ironman". Jesse Arnold 2 time winner of the "Ironman" is no longer shooting competition, so its wide open !
