Weather is looking better,50 at night,60 during the day. Good camping weather.Headed to Louisville today to work the NASP shoot. They gave us $600 and a 15% discount on rhinehart targets for doing this, so we wound up buying a carribou, buffaloe, moose, and bedded stone sheep. After purchasing a set of 19 used mckenzie targets a while back the club now has something like 56 targets! Plenty enough that we can waste targets on setups just for looks. Next year we may set 3 courses, one being a "ironman course" you know, 1 arrow, break it you're done type course. Just wasn't the time and prep for it this year.
John, if you're bringing Jim, I'll just stay home.. lol. I spent a weekend in Michigan with the two of you.. i'll be damned if I'll spend a weekend in Kentucky with you!!!!! hahahaha

Todd, just buy twice the beer---and check for barking dogs.
Hey Todd if you are going to tradfest you can catch a ride with Dennis and myself were planning to leave from Dennis's house around 7 am. or when French and the gang show up.7 am. sat. mourning
Contacted Mike Treadway, he is heading our way friday morning. This guy builds an awesome bow. I bought a 56" longbow (contradiction?) off him last year at TBOF, its the smoothest drawing, no stack little bow i've ever shot, and pretty darn quick for 43# bow. He said he had around a dozen bows he would bring. Super nice guy. I gurrantee if you talk to him a while, and shoot his bow, you will buy one, so bring a " $hitload of dimes ! " (Slim Pickens, blazing saddles)
Billy, French and them have to drive all the way over to the godforsaken mud flat's of the White to pick up Jim. They don't know how long that will take.
If any of you has an extra quive that I can borrow, bring it tomorrow. I left mine at home! No big deal. I will be taking Rod Jenkins classes all day, 9to5. I can put a couple of arrows in my back pocket.
It is a good thing that this was not a hunt. Hard to hunt with broadheads in your back pocket. Yikes!
