No Blather? Bloviation? A lack of Percipacity? bleh.gifconfuse.gif

Dennis, did you get your nap?

That anal-retentive Cowles bought a big-dollar hat at Basspro....

I have to say that the argument that carbon is stronger than wood was put to the test today,i found that i can destroy either with equal enthusiasum and style.Had much fun in doing so as well.Had a GREAT timebiggrin

DENNIS will probably sleep like the dead tonight, him and ron mc. hauled 2 3rds.. of the targets on the carts this afternoon,ME and FRENCH hauled the other 3rd. and and pulled most of them behind ANDYS group.Thats the most targets ive ever seen Dennis haul.GOOOOOD job.

Well. I for one , shot like crap, but a good time nonetheless. Never broke an aluminum arrow clean in two like that before. I did sow some seed arrows out in the woods, should sprout by Spring. Always fun to watch Cowles spend money. I'll be sure to help out on the next targets. Don't want to wear Dennis out prematurely.

The shoot was great! I've shot better, but it wasn't the course. Broke an arrow, but it's like golf, if you don't lose a few balls now and then you aren't challenging yourself. Besides, it would be boring to shoot the same colored arrows all the time. Need excuses to build more. Someone had some real pretty blue and white arrows out there today. Don't know how many they took home, but it was less than they started with!!!! Lol! Sorry we were so late getting out, some of my buddies had trouble getting there with the ice and snow this morning North of us.

Anybody seen Jose' DeMoya? Sightings of Bigfoot are more common. Maybe he's being held captive in Maine?

All courtesy the 1st. shooter receives the last shooter should receive.

So long as you allow (and charge for) shooting a second round, you will have late afternoons. It can't be helped. If you charge one price, and allow some secondary shooting, you can shut it off anytime.

Advertised shoot times are 9am. to 3pm.,flat rate or second round pay matters not.Anyone who signs in at 1pm. which is the cut off time has 2hrs. to complete the course. After 1pm. if there are no( new) sign ins we can start the tear down early following any shooter around the course as in the past.

By the way, this fresh made jalapeno corn bread sure tastes great with this deer and tatersbiggrin

QUESTION----Will METHANE kill briars, brush or pines and other trees.

There sure was alot of gas floating throuh the course yesterday.

BEANS definitly shouldnt be served when weather heats up for fear of atmospheric ignition.

WE aint got no fire insurance.

Don't get me wrong, we didn't feel rushed at all. I understand everyone wanting to get home. No problem here. We had a great time! I'd also like to take this oppurtunity to thank those who set up and tear down the course. I'd like to help you all sometime. Not that I feel I could add anything to the way the course is set up, but I've always been told a strong back and weak mind come in handy also. What time do you begin set up? I can't make the shoot on the 19th, hope to be shooting some piney rooters in Florida then, but I should be at the next one after that.

John,

I am still alive, but barely. We've had 30-40" of snow in the last 2 weeks or so. Frigid tempearatures too. You know it is bad when you feel it is warm when it is in the 20's!

God willing I will be coming home on the 12th. If the weather cooperates I should make the shoot on the 19th.

God bless,

Jose
