harvest 2010

shot 9.30 am Dec.18 at 140 yds. 50 cal. Thompson XR

Missed a chocolate racked ten point much bigger than this buck during early archery.
Oct. 5 was the day when my judgement of yardage failed. Took a 30 yd. shot at the buck that was only 24 yds. away.DAMN my EYES. After that day i passed on 16 different bucks looking for one more shot at him. It never came so i took this buck to end the season. My son Ryan shot an eight point on opening day of the muzzleloader season. Big oaks was good for him as well.

Dennis, glassing does pay off.

That's a Hoss. Congradulations. Do you think that might be the one that Ron met up with earlier?

That buck was taken at my honey hole. The buck you and Ron are after is still kickn .
The buck hanging is the buck my son shot at patoka DEC 4, the other one is his military refuge deer.

now i am going after 1 of the 11 toms i have been seeing above the cemetary before season expires.Same finger i shot my spring gobbler.
