How many rabbits they usually kill?

I know it's not about the amount of game killed. Their probably a bunch of great fellows to hang around with. Another fun Trad event.

But dangit John, I want fried rabbit with bisquits and gravy for Christmas morning breakfast this year.

I am thinking about it. The place is about 2 hours from my house. I attended the first 3, but none since.

Good fun, not many rabbits killed.

Let me know.

God bless,

Jose

Steve Wills gets a lot of shots every year,we need to talk to him. I've heard of parts of Indiana being nearly overun with rabbits. I'm not so sure that we have not had any for so long that we just assume there are none and don't bother to hunt them. Problem is, where do we find a dog these days ?

Uh wait a second. The last time I wore that outfit was 1976.

Well it looks like we might have our first,

Society of Longbow Owners, Primative in Old Kaintuck Extravaganza, or SLO POKE

hunt as it would be called. This is a better name than GORH. It also pretty much describes Jim's huntin style. That's good though as he's not likely to run many in the hole.

I looked at the calendar and our gun season runs till Nov. 28th. Opening day of muzzle load is on Dec. 4th. Ronald talked about us all going up to Patoka that day when they open up the preserve. THe last day of muzzel is Dec. 18th and if Tim still hasn't got a deer yet he will be hunting that last day.

So how does Saturday Dec 11th sound?  Might be snow by thenwink

Slo Poke is most excellent. Much better than Old Farts

Now you're talkin'! Sounds like you have the makings of an old-time bow outing. I envy you.
