Went to Tennessee weekend before last on a razerback hunt and man was it exciting! you aint liven until you have a 300+ pound hog chompen at ure behind. If you havent tryed it your missen out on the most adrinaline pumpen thing ive ever done. I got him with my 60# bear super kodiak. im still tore up over it
That's great, Milk. Hog hunting is an adrenilin rush. Someday we'll all have to go back to Okie land for a club pig hunt. Some day we might be hunting them in Indiana if the experts are right. That will be bad news for the farmers.
Where was this hunt? I've been checking some, but am afraid of getting involved in some kind of "pen hunt" which dont intrest me at all. I need info !!!!!
Well I hate to say it was in a high fence a 1,488 acre one! dont let it fool ya there were about 18 hogs in it and let me tell ya it was the hardest thing i ever done, i was thinken the same thing before we got there, man was i wrong! we were told before we got there dont be looken for a piece of cake hunt and thats what they ment! because we walked for 6 hours and didnt even see a hog and when you did, i dont care what you did theyed bust you every time. we never even seen a fience fore the first 8 or 9 hours in to the hunt and thats no joke they gave us radios so they could trace you and come pick you up if you needed or you had to walk back and that was no fun because the turane was so rocky. We finely had to get the dogs because the hogs were always on high alert and it was so dry theyed hear you a mile away and be gone! never the less the dogs got on some hogs and it took everything i had to keep up let me tell ya HOGS ARE NOT SCARED OF DOGS !!!!! cause the first chance my hog he ran me in a tree, ive never moved so fast in my life. i got an arrow in him rite behind the sholder ' pass threw' they finely bayd him again and i got another one on the other side in the same place and it went threw too he went down about 300 yards man it was cazy!!!!! Im not lieing when i say this you would have never thought you was in a fience im tellen ya!
