we just got back from up river.hunter went swimming above the arctic circle! he went in with an outie and came out with a innie.the berry picking was awsome the blue berries were thick.we ate them till we were sick.hunter made me blue berry sourdough pancakes. the fishing was good lots of salmon,pike,grayling,arctic char and trout.seen a few bears. not allot of caribou yet the migration dosnt start for another week or two.we did see about ten mosk ox feeding on the tundra.hunter got a good taste of the tussicks. were gonna re-group and head back up tomorrow.
I cant figure out how to post pictures. Me and hunter just got back from fishing on the Ely River. He caught his first salmon,trout,n arctic char. fresh fish on the fire .the caribou should b here by laborday. Hunter cant wait to stick one with his self bow! Hes gonna have an awsome hunting season.

hes living with me.. he likes it allot. we cant wait till the caribou show up.starting to get a lil bit accomplished on the cabin.hope to have it done by the end of winter!!I heard dad brought ethan to the shoot and he done pretty good.
Im gonna go up river and work on the cabin and slay some fish!!!Get me ur adress and i can send u all the salmon,trout,and arctic char u want.and may b we can do some swappin around 4 some good bow wood. hunter wants to kill a sheep and make a composite horn bow.Thats my Boy!!!!

the end of september would b great!!i would love to hunt with u guys!!just got back from a float trip for grizzly a 8 1/2 n 7 1/2 boars. great weather the trip was awsome. we got one at 15 yards would have been the perfect bow set up!!
check out Alaska Game and fish website Unit 23.Im pretty sure theres lots to hunt then!! And great fishing. Plenty of small game to put an -->>------> arrow through arctic hare n ptarmigan,sprucehens. u tell me the dates and ill set it up. im pretty sure moose and caribou would b no problem!!the Brooks Range is unbelievable hunting!!

Kotzebue Alaska 25 miles up the noatak river.on an island! goin up tomorrow to work on the cabin !! and take some boys Moose hunting!!got lots of work to do on the cabin.. i got a camp set up their now! nothing special . a wall tent and such.
