OK, but can I just come and bring my wood bow or 'glass longbow or 'glass recurve and JUST SHOOT ! And in the bargain I have SOME FUN ! And maybe beome a better shooter and with that become a better HUNTER ! The IBO, ABO,NBO,CCO,NPA,WPA and whatever can do what they want to do and since I am a member of non of the above, I won't be offended by what they do whatever that is. I'm way to old to be bothered by such trivial meanderings. I get enough grief dealing with ass munch bosses, stupid customers and the next door neighbor who bitches about the way I mow the grass.
I've got corrupt politicians screwing America up from the local COUNCILMAN all the way up to that knothead -in -charge in DC. The economy sucks pond water, my taxes are going up, and I just dropped $200 to get my computer fixed because some low life ingrate thought it would be cute to devise some bug to **** me over.
So what I want to do is come down, have fun and let Billy, Ron, John,Dennis, and Cowles have fun too. The day I worry about how some guy is shooting a bow will be the day I start shooting a slingshot or Uzi.
Everyone OK with that ?

You know alot of this has been tongue-n-cheek. I do want everyone to know I DON"T CARE WHO WINS OR WHAT STYLE THEY SHOOT!!!!! This was/is NOT about Billy,Ron or Ron or anyone else that shoots point of aim!!
This thread was about the IBO and the Traditional World Championship. Thats all it was about at least on my part. As I said previously, the IBO has classes for all kinds of compound shooters. I think the IBO needs to make more classes for traditional shooters. That has been the entire focus of my comments.

Personally I shoot for hunting practice, if I hit the 8 ring I consider it a dead animal. Most of the time ,I don't keep score at any shoot because that's not the reason I go to shoots. I go to the shoots, to practice for hunting season.

However I do think, Dennis should have to shoot every target like that girl on youtube, does with her feet, while standing on her head. I think Randy could agree with me on that?? What say ya Randy??

I just luve to shoot! I dont care how i do it . my daddys always told me what ever makes you happy in life you better do it! and i luve shooten and hunten with the recurve and longbow because i mite not be able to do it tomorrow.

ya its about the enjoyment of it all for me.thats why i dont shoot alot of the shoots anywhere anymore...who gives a flying **** about how or who shoots what style...this is why i dont do the whole going to shoots alot anymore.i didnt know that when i picked up a recurve i was an elitist....so i choose not to care about such things...just my 2 cents

I believe people pick a style that they shoot the best with. Everybody wants to be as good as they possibly can be. Lets say a instinctive shooter tried gaping,secondary vision and improved dramaticaly. I doubt he's goin back to instinctive . Accept for when that deer walks by and his subconcious takes over and aims for him. ''ps he's still aiming". If you gap shoot with the same equipment long enough it becomes instinctive cause you dont conciously think about it. Gappers conciously aim, Instinctive subconciously aim, Both aim just differently.

Who said robin hood or native americans didnt gap shoot. I havnt got to ask them. have you?

I havnt kicked my wife out of bed for eating crackers yet and I dont plan on disowning anybody because of their shooting style. EVEN IF THEY BEAT ME.

Shoot whats best for you, not whats best for everyone else.

Its like going back to school and making fun of somebody cause of their shoes.
