Was the name of the Texas guy who shot the Bear recurve for the African big 5----darn weak old memory!!
If you ever get a chance to watch the video about him, it is worth it for the charging Lion

Fred Bear made him 2 bows for these hunts a 100 # Kodiak and a 70# Kodiak too practice with !

I just recently got the Fred Bear DVD collection, that Bill Negley African hunt was in it, cool vid. Yeah, he was the stuff, read about him many years ago. Can't imagine shootin' 100 # draw weights. I guess i'm a little sissy boy.
