Summertime blues

The sign on the church across the street said 98 deg. this afternoon. My only question is---- When is the first frost?

Steve, is it a pool or a pond? If you keep those cows out of it, it will be more better swimming. Cows warm them up too much by....ashamed...umm neverminddisbelief

John, now that you and French have become motor scooter outlaws...flyin down the highway, guzzelin beer, taking over small towns, etc. I'm sure you don't have to worry about the heat . Or B.O. eitherdoh

Joe bring on the snowbiggrin This old man can handel itbiggrin

I remember calling Ed at Alaska Bowhunting in August one year... It was sweltering here 95+ at 8:00 pm... and he rubbed it in that he was in a flannel shirt and it was feeling nice... mid 50's that day...

Don't think I could handle the winters though... both the cold and lack of daylight...

Jon, you gave me an idea. We could all retire like John, buy airstream trailers and live like gypsies. Key West in Feb. Start working your way north with the turkey season. Be around here when the readears are nesting. Michigan in blueberry season. Up on Superior for the smelt run. Catch the cariboo migration and then head south.

It's 8:43 and the church sign says 92hmm

Tim you gotta remember that yall live up in the great northern wastelands. I think the tundra starts about at Seymore. At least that's where the tree line ends. I remember the snow picture where all you could see was the roof of Johns barnashamed What was it a sweltering 74 when you were mowing? You remember the Ohio valley in the summerdoh

Any way I went out in my garage and roughed out a new bow yesterday afternoon. There's nothing like being covered in sweat and yellow dustbiggrin

JR your right, I shouldn't complain. I'll bet they don't even have electric down where your at, and you haven't griped a bitbiggrin

HeHe. Somebody had to do something, it was gettin out of handbiggrin

Seriously, the weather man said that if it get's above 82 these last couple days of the month that it will be the hottest june on record. I don't know what to think about all this global warmingconfuse, but I do know that sometimes we have real hot summers. This might be one of themfurious
