The food plots are going as strong as we have experienced in some years, thanks to some hard work and early preparation. We have three clover plots that have been mowed to around 12" of thick, lush clover. The regular mowing has really kept the weeds down and the deer are eating it up. One plot of rape (kale) is going strong but I have yet to get a camera over there so I don't know what is using it if anything.
I enjoy the "farming" type of work and hope and believe that it will pay off, if only at least providing game to watch while on stand.
Here is a grainy nightime pic of a buck from this month, he along with many other deer kept this particular camera clicking.
