So, are we going to hunt?

Jose' have you heard from Ray Hammond? It's pretty dead around here--lots of posted land this year--and I am jonesing to go on a hunt!

Let's take the entire club again like we did "Hunting for the ghost of Kentucky Pigs"

I was going to start a new thread when I read this.

Click here for an update on Ray's available dates or you may have to copy/paste:

I'd love to go in November, but I have to go to SD and move my youngest boy back to KY.

Let me know what you like and let's plan on it.

God bless,

Jose

Well, the OCT or Nov dates would work for me, but March is OK also. I don't think I'd want to go later than that. Being retired, I'm open to any of them. Have you goten a group together yet?

John, my problem is I can't hunt in those dates in oct/nov. January is out because I will be in ME until the 27th. The march schedule for Ray has only one spot. One april date has 3 spots open.

Did you see the new thread from Ray? A weekend of squirrel hunting for $160. The problem: it is going to be in january and I can't go.

Let's go to GA. Public land.

God bless,

Jose

PS I do not have any group. My group is you and I.

I've heard there is good hunting in north Georgias Cohutta National Forest, Terry Green of Trad Gang talks about it, and of course Florida is covered with hogs, what better place to go in Jan-Feb than Florida?
I went to the TBOF shoot near Silver Springs ,FL last March, saw 2 hogs on the side of the road, one a road kill, another had a drag rope on its snout, and was deboned.
Eddie was there last week taking his family to Disney World, said he saw a crop field covered with hogsfrom I-75 near Gainesville (thats where the Bear Archery Plant is)
I may try to do some hunting there in 2010 at the shoot, if the wife will let me.
