Boys, we need to get busy and get something lined up.
Did you all see the deal that boy has in TG? The dates are wrong for me otherwise I would've jumped on it. I have to go to Florida with the old lady to see the grandchildren.
On the other hand, I spoked to a boy from Dayton, TX who is a member of the HH Longbowmen. He can put us in some hogs, but we have to wait for the end of deer season: first week in January. Something to ponder. It is a 17 hours drive from my house.
Actually the hunt will have to take place the second or 3rd week because the deer season ends the first week, that is what I meant. Sorry for the confusion.
Going in Jan. would be good as far as skeeters and snakes are concerned. With the weather that time of year though a 17 hour drive may turn into 3 days at Motel 6. That would be a good time to hunt pigs. Rabbit might still be in also.
