Man, I'm getting pumped! We leave this Thursday for the Montana Bear hunt! It's definately going to be an adventure as Ron, Steve and I travel into the wilds of Montana in search of black bear. A good time to be had with good friends, I'm sure there will be some stories to tell out of this one. Now if I could get done with work!

I think I'll eat some pickled eggs and bologna, then drink about two beers tonight before we leave, just so I can live up to my reputation!LOL! I think Steve and Ron would throw me out of my own truck if I did that. I put the two stone tips I got from Doyle at Farmland on a couple of arrows last night, so they are ready for the ultra cool close range shot if that happens. I'm just about packed, will be finished tonight so we can pull out west tomorrow!

Hey you happen to have Doyle's email, I got a tip from him as well and mounted it up today ready for deer season, need to be able to send him a picture.
All is well with the bear hunting excursion! We had an absolutely wonderful time, saw lots of wildlife, but unfortunately no bears were taken. Ron Denton almost shot 1, but discovered she had a cub, so it was a no go. Steve and I could not have hunted much harder for bear, but we didn't see any in spite of traveling and glassing 600-800 miles of mountain roads over the course of 5 days. In spite of the no bears situation, we had a great time, ate lunch everyday among some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, and had a wonderful trip. I will try and post some pics as soon as possible. Thanks, Bryan
