Oh yea. Are you retired? I remember that time we rode back from Nancy with Neal and Dan. I remember we drank beer all the way home. You said you had about five years to retirement and I said me too. Where are we going hunting first? Dang, I gotta go to work tomorrow. DEN
i called jim cowles today and he sounded like he may want to ride along also . he cant shoot but still wants to come along and carry my bow for me i think....lol he said they put his surgery off till april 30th so lets all keep him in our prayers untill then. dennis you just tell us when breakfast will be ready and we will be there !
The weather is still looking good. I'll talk to Ronald tonight and see when we're leaving. If we're lucky he can drive his wifes Hummvee and we can all ride together.
I'm glad Jim's going. He can climb them hills behind the targets and look for our arrows
Hey Guys, How many going down for the weekend? Any one want to share a motel room? Don't know if it's going to be nice enough to camp. I will most likely go down sat. morning.
Ronald said we can all ride down in his Yukon Danalie Escalade. He said it will hold eight people and their equipment. He says we should leave here at 6: am. We can stop at his favorite Waffle House for breakfast and still get there before 9:00. That way there will still be places to park. It sounds like a good plan. DEN

Well, you can see who's got the buck$ around here! I'm hitch-hiking with John French.
Well the weather is looking great. I checked for Somerset which is about 8mi away from the shoot. It will be a little cool in the morning early and then be sunny and in the upper 60s that afternoon. The trails may still be a little muddy so wear boots. Should be a good time. DEN
Wish I could go, but I'm takin the daughter turkey huntin all weekend for the youth season opener here in KY. You guys go and have a good time for me! Dennis, don't beat them all too bad! Bryan

I can see the zero's comin out of that turkey's mouth as I walk to the target!
I don't remember a Klassic that was not muddy. There were years that when you shot coming back after crossing the little creek on that hill across the club house you had to have crampons, picks and whateverelse to go up and get your arrows. You had to go up on 4 wheel drive (thank God for roots and saplings) and come down on all-butt drive if you know what I mean. Fun stuff!
I forgot: if any of you boys see Lowell Jones or Dale Weddle say hello for me. They will be the boys taking your shoot money fee at the table. You can't miss Lowell he looks like the lost twin brother of Fred Asbell. They both are very good boys.
